Daring PigeonGood mix of intellectually stimulating and engagingI have been listening to diffused congruence for years and it is one of my favorite podcasts. They cover the rich tapestry of Muslim life and engage with the guest while allowing them to express both their own personal history and their work. From academics to artists, there’s very few episodes of diffused congruence that have not been enlightening. There are very few podcasts of this caliber and none in the Muslim space that get anywhere to the breadth and depth of the modern Muslim American experience.

Ibrahim Ali MasriOne of the best Islamic podcasts I have foundI have been searching for an intellectually stimulating but accessible Islamic podcast and I have found it here. Listening to old episodes I only wish I had found it earlier. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Zahida22Engaging and informativeThank you for the thoughtful perspectives and engaging discussions.

هارونLove love loveLove this podcast. We need more like this.

djakfjkwkrGreat but not as open mindedI would like to see a more balanced guests. Although I am Sufi , I want to see engagement with More conservative sufis like deobandis and even salafi or pseudosalafi scholars. Many of them are also an important part of American Islamic experience

abumaganAn Exceptional Podcastthat brims with relevant and exciting stories of Muslims in America. Jazāka-Allāh!

Dhaka StreetsOverall decent but needs consistencyDiffused was the first Muslim podcast I subscribed to and they have some really amazing episodes (Dr Umar, Imam Zaid). I wish they were more consistent in their production because sometimes you have to wait over a month to hear new content. I also feel like there is a lack of diversity in the voices they bring on. Would like to see them engage in some dialogue with some more Salafi leaning people. Finally, not sure why it sounds like Parvez and Zaki Skype each other in when they are both in the Bay Area. If they are skyping, then they should bite the bullet and meet in one place. Makes for better sound quality especially if you are going to skype in a guest as well.

Said SalihLove your interviews with scholarsI am not an American but a Turkish Muslim Phd student at an American university. I love your episodes with Muslim scholars such as Dr Umar Faruq Abdullah and Prof. Sherman Jackson. For young aspiring scholars it is great to hear their experiences in Islamic Studies. It helps to contextualize their work and makes it more enjoyable and meaningful to read. It also serves as an example for us how to live a purposeful and meaningful life. Keep up your great work... Thank you very much...

DesignMonstrVery Addictive!Every episode just gets better and better, but the last with Imam Tahir and Rehan was just fantabulous and might even BREAK THE INTERNET. It equipped us with all the right tools for Ramadan, both spiritually and physically. You could have named the episode something like “SUPER-iMAM vs BATMAN” ;).

Übermensch DoppelgängerAn American show with a global appealI am not an American. Have only visited the country a few times. I don't have a direct contact with the American Muslim community (or any other community for that matter). And yet. And yet the monthly (or so) ruminations and pontifications of this delightful podcast bring a semblance of joy and ensemble to my otherwise mundane car rides from my workplace. The line up of guests and subject matter is a good eclectic mix, which has a something for everyone-feel. I must confess there are times when I continue listening to a podcast even after reaching my destination. The languid style of the hosts and measured nature of conversation is pleasing and often times humorous to listen to. But perhaps, their biggest achievement is to familiarise the unfamiliar. Muslim Americans to the rest of America. And Americans to the rest of the world. That is quite an achievement. - Husain Quadri, Feb, 2016

N. KhanLove it!This podcast is such a great way to understand the backgrounds of today's American Muslim leaders, I thoroughly enjoy listening to it.

Rocketeer1125Awesome jobLove the pod and the diverse view points. Some other great American scholars you may want to interview are Dr Jonathan Brown, Dr Yasir Qadhi, and Omar Suleiman.

AneebabaJust what I was looking for!Being an American Muslim, love hearing from those in our community in this intimate manner. I'm just disappointed in myself for not finding this earlier (late arrival to podcasts and well, didn't have an iPad or Apple device at the time you guys started). I've only listened to the first 5 episodes, but already giving it 5 stars, because it's just great quality, with fantastic guests and quality discussion. Keep up the great work.

PaliluckGreat PodcastGreat Podcast telling the real story of American Muslim. I love it.

Mr. StrivingWhy we listen to podcasts! Why do we listen to podcasts? Because we love the idea of tapping into the world, in an unfiltered way and learning from stories of people who may be half a globe away or just next door, but who we might not engage or listen to because the lines of communication are usually closed or, at the most, quite narrow. This show enables us to do what we love with our podcast listening - to hear people’s journeys, backgrounds, and perspectives. Parvez and Zaki do a pretty good job allowing people to tell their stories uninterrupted. One could criticize that the lineup of guests might not fully reflect the depth and diversity of the Muslim American experience (one gets the sense that many of the guests have similar spiritual outlooks and intellectual influences), but one podcast airing only monthly can’t do that. If anything, it shows the need for more podcasts and more media presence just like this effort. All said, very good podcast here, with thoughtful, intriguing conversations. Highly recommended.

Go rocketsGood additions to the narrative.Thank you for broadcasting some of the complexities of Islam in America. These podcasts reveal a depth that is often lost in mass media these days. Good work and I look forward to your future episodes. I'm hooked!

Omar A. AnsariThe quintessential podcast about Muslims in America! This is the quintessential podcast about the Muslim American experience! Muslims Americans contribute to the U.S. In more ways than people realize – they are your doctors, lawyers, and government worker. They entertain you through sports, literature, music and media. They work tireless as community organizers and in NGOs to make the United States a more perfect union. In this wonderful, eye-opening podcast, hosts Parvez and Zaki document some of those contributes in the form of captivating interviews. I hope you get a chance to join in on the conversation! Highly recommended.

theRoderickGreat start…look forward to moreGreat in-depth interviews with various personalities across the spectrum of american Islam. I’d like to hear more about the hosts. I’d like to hear Parvez interview Zaki and vice versa. The hosts themselves would make great guests. The guest list has been great, but I’d love to hear from folks in government or the establishment of immigrant muslim institutions. Perhaps, more on the arts...a focus on music and literature would be great. I’m sure its a challenge to coordinate with such busy people, but I look forward to how this great effort develops. Criticsms: The intro music is a little long and could use some updating. Also, I feel like someone needs to turn off their email alerts on their computer. Sound quality becomes a bit sketch sometimes. A livelier intro and exit would be nice. Perhaps, run some monthly segments… e.g. Parvez’s quip of the months, Zaki’s recommended reads.
