As an 80 year old Assembly of God pastor I write you. For years I have listened and loved my Brother in the Lord. He and I may disagree on some things concerning doctrine, but we are one on most of what he shares. We have been riding together on the bus for years as he drove us Through the Bible’s many precious sites. When I pastored the Lord’s work there received support here and there as a mission to the world.

I wish I had the adequate words to express just how much of a blessing this ministry and podcast has been to me. I believe that the Lord’s hand is certainly guiding it. I am still on my first five year journey but I hope to continue on subsequent journeys unto the Lord calls me home after my very last breath. In Christ!

Dr. McGee tells what the Bible says, and it’s in a way that really touches me. Hearing him say “May I say to ya?” is so gentle and respectful. He has a perfect way of teaching. What a blessing for us all that these recordings allow him to continue teaching the Bible.

I listened to Pastor McGee’s excellent and engaging preaching on my car radio on the way to work in the 1980s. Now via Podcast, I am listening to the same great teaching.

I start of my morning listening to the program. What he spoke then is relevant for today. God’s word is timeless. If I miss an episode I catch up because I don’t want to miss any.

I’ve been listening to Dr McGee since I was saved in 1997. At first I didn’t understand what he was teaching, but as the Bible Bus rolled along, God gave me a deeper understanding of His Word. How thankful I am for this ministry.

In a day when (may I say), sadly, we judge a man by his skin color, Dr. McGee continues to preach/teach the Word of God, the only source of Truth for a lost and dying world

I was listening through the One Place app but daily found it a challenge to use it—episodes not able to be saved or bookmarked and if paused, it showed no minute mark to return to. Hard to believe that Dr McGee went to the Lord 35 years ago. Each episode remains as vibrant as if it was recorded that morning. Has helped keep my faith (as much as I can, with God’s Grace).

Dr. J. Vernon McGee is absolutely wonderful and his words on Scripture are a delight to listen to each day. Except for another program that I have found, LoveIsrael.org, Dr. McGee goes through God’s word, word for word and line by line. Dr. McGee’s Southern accent and good-natured presentation entices this listener return each day. Many thanks to those who are keeping the Bible Bus going on the God’s highway.

I was super excited to find the “Bible Bus” in the AppStore. I grew up listening to Dr. McGee’s sermons on the Dallas region’s Christian AM radio station. I’m 56 now. The messages are just as fresh, pertinent, & timely today as when first recorded. Thank you for making them available via this podcast media.

Been on and off the bus since 1994. I had “intellectual” issues with the Bible. I was challenged by a 13 year old boy who pointed me to 1 Corinthians 15. He said, “My dad told me that if Jesus did not die for our sins and resurrect from the dead, the whole Bible is a joke and we are the biggest fools.” I was raised as a Catholic but at 14 I determined it was a racket. Well, my issue was not intellectual, I just did not want to give up my sinful lifestyle. After 9 months of having this boys words just digest in my mind and heart, I remember the day... I asked God, “If you want me to believe, then show me.” God spoke to me that very moment March 8, 1994, He said, “Believe in Me, and I will show you who I am.” I said, “I believe, please forgive me.” Within 3 weeks I did not have the desire to drink, curse or womanize. Started going to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and now attend Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills. Married, 3 kids and 1 new grandson. Oh to have a personal relationship with Jesus... just me, Him and His Word... Gods Blessings

I have followed Dr. Magee for several years now and have shared his programs with many . I have been a Christian but really found most churches lacking the True message over the last few years . I Thank the Lord for your message and the fact that it goes out all over the world . May you be able to keep this message going in these troubled times when it is need more then ever ! I listened to Dr. McGee’s radio show for the first 7 years after becoming a Christian. I never knew that he had already gone home to God and I was listening to a decades old recordings—so timeless. This ministry has meant much to my walk, and I’m glad that I recently started listening again through the podcasts.

This bible study program changed the course of my Christian life. I realized that my Christian walk was lacking something, as Dr. McGee says, “ the greatest sin in the church today is the ignorance of the word of God”. Through this bible study I’ve gained a true knowledge of the word of God that has kept me growing if faith.

Thru the Bible helps you understand the times we live in. God wants to save but there is only one way. Jesus Christ blood is sufficient for all my sins and yours. Faith in a completed work of Jesus Christ’s blood is enough. Lay back and rest in Christ’s work and you are saved, now. Then grow in understanding with the word of God, the Bible. That’s where thru the Bible will help. Grow up with thru the Bible.

I listened about 40 years ago. This is the first time I’ve heard Vernon Magee on my phone, on demand! I’ve never seen his picture before. I missed him but have found a way to be with him. Thank you.

What a gift we have in Jesus, and his servant J. Vernon McGee. I’ve been on the Bible Bus since 1988. I’ve tried to go my own way several times, but the simple and profound teaching of Dr. McGee pulls me back to TTB time and time again. I live in Seattle, and my commute is lengthy, giving me a great opportunity to listen to one or two TTB podcasts. What a blessing these are to me. My prayer is that God will continue to bless this ministry, so that this ministry will continue to bless this fallen and derelict world. My name is Pamela, and I’m in my 24th year of teaching high school English. Teaching high school can definitely be discouraging at times, but riding the Bible Bus is my daily joy! I’m finishing my second time of studying through the Bible under the teaching of J. Vernon McGee. My morning begins early. I leave the house for a 63 mile commute shortly before 6:00am every morning, but I set my alarm for 3:30, so I have time to pack my lunch, get dressed, and read and study the Bible passage that Dr. McGee will be teaching on while I drive through Sacramento, California (KFIA, 710 AM) during my morning commute. I can’t tell you how much I love it, how much I‘ve learned, and how much I’ve grown in my spiritual knowledge and understanding of the Bible as a whole book that fits together in a perfectly beautiful way! It’s the best way to begin my day. Dr. McGee’s teaching is down to earth and clear and I feel like Steve and Greg are my brothers in the Lord who help me start my day. I am on the World Prayer Team, I listen to the Saturday Questions & Answers, and the Sunday Sermons! It is a tremendous blessing to have access to such a wealth of resources and, so I have been a monthly partner for several years to keep gas in the bus! Thru the Bible radio has been near and dear to my heart since 2001. It has been the single greatest Bible study that has grown me spiritually. I've not made it, I continue to grow and I look forward to listening to this podcast every day because it's my dose of reality and it keeps me focused on Jesus first thing in the morning. I can probably write so much more. I will say that TTB has been all about Jesus and the Word of God and I'm so excited to listen each day.

I have been on the Bible Bus since 1974. After going through the 5 year program many times, I can say that I am blessed in a new and fresh way each time I take the journey with Dr. McGee. God blessed Dr. McGee with the gift of teaching and Dr. McGee was faithful to his calling. The program is as contemporary in the 21st century as it was in the 20th and very relevant to our everyday life. As Dr. McGee often said it gets way down to where the rubber meets the road! Truly a blessing to all who comes under this teaching.

Although these were recorded decades ago, amazing to me to just how relevant and up-to-date this teaching still is. The Word of God is always relevant and up-to-date. Indeed it is sharper than any two-edged sword, judging the thoughts and intensional of the heart.

Dr. McGee is a giant in his exegesis of the Gospel. I thank God that he had the vision to record his 5 year account of the Bible with the machinations of man’s penchant to not fully comprehend the Majestic nature of the Holy Trinity. Dr. E. Frederick Anderson, Ph.D.

Thru the Bible is the best scripture teaching tool there is!

I hear McGee and go back in time and it’s 1970’s - 1980’s! Growing up my parents listened to thru t bible. I’m now in my 50’s and can still say one of my top go to podcasts! Dad bought the whole cassette tape books included. Sorry about first paragraph went back in time. Dr. McGee explains every verse from Old Testament to last word of Revelation and as a 10 yr old to present he’s one of my favorite because he’s one of few who explains the book your in the chapter and verse. Do I agree with everything he teaches..No but for most part only a few small things I disagree on.

Love listening. Makes God's word come alive.
