This is a high energy show that is fun to help me relive the 2023 League’s Cup with Messi and friends. The only problem for me is the language which has gotten progressively worse after the first 4 or 5 episodes. Maybe it’s cause I’m a woman but I have no room for that language in my life. Taylor I love you man! You’re my favorite announcer and I wish you were covering every Inter Miami game! But I’ll skip the show for now. Let me know if you guys find a bar of soap for your mouths. 😉🧼😂

I’m brand new to soccer and MLS (yeah I’m one of those Ted Lasso people) and while I’m sure those who have been into MLS for a long time get something out of this podcast, it’s just not for beginners like me. Referencing players and games from 10 years ago and name dropping coaches like we should know who they are. I get so lost that I tune out the whole episode. Especially being at the start of the new season, with all the new fans joining, i wish he’d offer a little more context for what he’s saying.

Love the insight into the game you get from TT and his guests. The conversations are light hearted but also deep at times which is a nice balance in life and a pod.

Just another analyst talking gibberish and pushing the mls script. Putting in the bare minimum - can’t wait till this is cancelled

I am continually impressed by this podcast. The guests and interviews are fantastic. Cool behind the scenes stories, good analysis, and very well produced. It has gotten me hyped to watch teams I normally wouldn’t.

You could say I am biased since Taylor Twellman has always been one of my favorite USMNT players. However.. I feel I have learned and fallen in love with the beautiful game more from the insight Taylor always brings with his intelligent view point. This podcast is incredibly well done and allows you as a fan to dive deeper into what makes players, coaches, and MLS tick. Rich story telling and is what every true MLS and soccer fan could ever want. I feel more connected to players and teams I love and am able to gain more insight and appreciation to others I did not even know about. Will always be a fan, thank you Taylor and everyone else who makes this a joy to listen to!

Taylor Hellman is one of the best commentators as well as articulated spokesperson. He’s real, raw, and heartfully honest. I cannot put into words how much I appreciate this podcast and everything it has to offer. Thank you Taylor. You’re a gem.

Taylor is great and delivers quality information. Would love to see this become the go-to pod for MLS and American soccer as a whole.

Footie entertainment and education at its peak

Taylor has the potential to offer an insider’s look at the league, from the standpoint of a former player as well as Apple’s shining gem game commentator. Twellmanately, Mr. Twellman fails to make use of his insider status to help grow MLS and instead chooses to focus on a singular player, letting the rising tide of MLS’s popularity lift a single ship. It’s understandable that the spotlight should be shone on one of the greatest soccer players; however, the focus shouldn’t be so singular as to completely ignore the league he plays in. Even on a week when the prodigal soccer son doesn’t play (and his team loses a final), he is still somehow the main topic of conversation. Listeners are given just a glimpse of how great this podcast could be by a previous episode featuring Wilfried Nancy, Columbus Crew FC head coach, offering a valuable look at the league from a rarely heard point of view. Regrettably that type of interview and access appears to be an outlier as the following week Taylor’s focus is to interview a sportswriter and former radio host based out of… Miami with the topic of discussion being solely focused on Messi in-between putting down the sport with talking points sounding as if they were from your average non-soccer fan who thinks Pulisic still plays for Dortmund. Rather than focusing on the goal of the league, Taylor leans back to look at the soccer Son and misses the goal. So close.

Taylor - great series of interviews regarding the Columbus Crew. Loved the insights with Nancy regarding his golf game, etc. As a Crew supporter I appreciate that you have an appreciation of what is happening in Cbus. Also enjoy that your pods are not too long, very enjoyable. Future teams that I would recommend include; Philly Union (always interesting), Real SL (what new owners have going), Houston (things are positive there too).

Never have I heard a grown man ride another’s d!ck as hard as Taylor ride’s Messi’s! And I’m gay! 😂 Seriously, I get that Messi is the GOAT, but he acts like an obsessed little girl and doesn’t talk about anything else going on in the League. Pod could be much better.

And I love TT passion and knowledge of football. It’s makes for the perfect podcast which I’m loving. Your last episode where you talk about how Messi fever is turning so many people into fans of US soccer is spot on. I have friends who have questioned my obsession with football over the years watching this sport now because of the Messi fever and loving it. They text me asking when is the next match and signed up for Apple + MLS.

I have been watching the MLS grow since the days of Valderrama on Miami Fusion. It’s been a slow growth up until the last 5 or so years and I would say as an MLS figure, Taylor is the best there is. He calls the games, tells the truth, has the energy and this pod encompasses everything. Thank you Taylor for pushing US soccer and don’t stop doing the pod!

Taylor is from America’s Soccer Capital, St. Louis, so you knew this pod would be good.

MLS ensures all major issues in US soccer are maintained and it has functionally captured control of USSF to do its bidding to eliminate competition.

I’m very much enjoying Taylor sharing his in depth knowledge in podcast form with his direct and animated approach. I appreciate that this project launched during the Messi debut and that’s been the primary topic by default. As we return to regular season I’m going to be looking for more broad discussions across the league, players and coaches. That’ll push my rating higher. Thank TT!

I think the show has been pretty great. It is annoying that all anyone talks about is Messi though. Apple TV is seriously lacking in its coverage of anything not Messi, but I think Taylor recognizes this and is trying to give us a little extra. Just a reminder to Apple, there are other teams in this league and they have fans too.

He’s not a bad soccer analyst. But he just can’t stop pushing far left wing politics into every conversation. It’s embarrassing how he just keeps creating divisions for soccer fans. Wish the pod was good. It’s not.

At least a baby has an excuse for being immature, ear piercing, and headache inducing. The most dangerous place I. The world is between Taylor and a camera/microphone. Narcissistic, impervious to criticism, and lacking knowledge when it comes to the Laws of the Game. Taylor is just plain bad for the growth of soccer in America.

I get that Messi coming to MLS is a huge deal, but if TT doesn’t start talking about some of the other teams, players, and stories in MLS I’m going to unsubscribe in a hurry. Yes, you will need to talk about Messi, especially after a big performance like we just saw in Dallas, but don’t make it exclusively about him.

Taylor always bring passion and enthusiasm to his football / soccer commentary. You can hear and see his love of the game in everything he does. Even with only a handful of episodes, I can tell this going to be a weekly listen for me. Can’t wait to hear more.

Taylor is the Tony Romo pf MLS. His insight and knowledge as a color commentator is always “spot on”. He has an uncanny ability to call things out way before it happens. Just like former Dallas QB Tony Romo and now NFL sportscaster/presenter. I am sure his new Podcast will be excellent. We are blessed to have his talent now on Apple TV And Apple Podcasts for years to come. Amen. Love Taylor!

Ranks among the top two or three MLS centric podcast available. No wait… ranks among the top five soccer/football podcast. Full stop. This medium was made for Twellman. The Rebecca Lowe show was entertaining and insightful.

The episode with Mas on Inter Miami was amazing - keep it up!

I’ve always love Taylor’s passion for US soccer and he brings that here! That along with his connections, this is, and will continue to be, a great podcast.

I like that this show is quick and packs a lot of information. Taylor is passionate and doesn’t do a lot of fluff. The first two episodes are good listens and enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing where TT takes this show in the future.
