    Educational and fun!
Mrs. Cindy is fun, engaging, and makes our family want to explore more in nature! Each podcast is a short introduction to a nature topic. You can use the podcast as a springboard for your family’s own study of the topic or use it to help form some schema before your child attends Mrs. Cindy’s No Sweat Nature Study live class. Either way, the whole family will enjoy this podcast!!

    Just advertising
At first we loved this show, but it’s become an advertisement for the paid video classes. We don’t even get the nature walk challenge anymore unless we subscribe by email. Such a bummer!

    Cool
What I would never want to see on a nature walk is a spider.

    Fun Quick nature study
Simple enough for my elementary student and scientific enough to engage the middle schoolers! Hands-on and outdoors, engaging for all! Love it! We listen in the car and have great discussions!

    Wonderful!
I love this podcast for my kindergarteners and preschoolers - even without doing the activities, they get a good amount out of them, and hopefully when they are older will get to re-listen and learn even more!

    The perfect science podcast !
Ranging from 12-15 minutes, these science podcasts packs a punch of knowledge in bite size chunks. My kids and I love listening to these at lunch and then doing the nature walks after lunch. Simply perfect!

    Just the right amount!
Ms Cindy does a stellar job of introducing simple nature subjects, teaching a few facts about them and relating it to the children. I appreciate that this podcast isn’t too long & keeps our attention. We’ve learned so much from Ms Cindy!

    My kids love this podcast!
Super educational, engaging and a great on-ramp for nature journaling! My kids (age 11, 9, 4 and 2) and I listen during lunch time or in the car. They ask all week when there will be a new episode.

Warning- pollinators episode discusses how babies are made
I was listening to this with my 4 year old. The pollinators episode discusses plant reproduction (fine, necessary) but then she starts talking about how egg and sperm meet to make a human baby (not necessary). I will have discussions with all my children on how babies are made, but was not expecting to have to after a podcast on pollinators.

    Age Range
I love this podcast! Homeschooling my 6 kids ages 7mo up to 13yrs is tricky, but getting into studies that are helpful and inspiring for all those ages is invaluable. Thank you!

    Easy and Interesting!
My daughters and I love listening! Nature study has always been something that gets pushed back in our homeschool, and now it’s so easy to incorporate.

    Love it!
Listened to every episode. Love them all. Cindy’s sweet, crystal clear voice makes it very easy for my little ones to understand the information. We love to listen to it on our way to our nature walks. You’ve helped how I think about “science class” so much! Thank you Cindy!

    Enjoy it
We are using this podcast as our science for homeschool for my 6 year old. Hoping there will be more episodes!

    Not ok
Kinda didn’t appreciate hearing about reproduction, sperm and egg in humans, with small children from a podcast about pollinators. She speaks how I would talk to a 2 year old (very childish) and yet brings up how people reproduce. Totally out of place!

We are loving these short episodes! My kids (ages 7, 5, 4 & 2) are enjoying listening to them during lunch and then running outside to explore! What a wonderful resource for our homeschool! They are packed full of information; yet presented in a way that even my young ones can grasp the concepts! Thank you Miss Cindy!

    Enjoyable for all ages
We love this podcast. My 14 y.o. daughter is obsessed with learning about nature and science and this is great to listen to during chores or car rides. We would love longer episodes too if you ever contemplate recording those. Thank you Ms. Cindy for all your hard work to help our children learn.
