    PSU vs Minnesota
I love you’re podcast typically. Tom I listened when you had Matt McGloin before he raised our taxes 33%. Anyway, this is about expectations and ppl including you guys, have to realize Franklin will NEVER get us a Natty. He and his staff just won’t break through. This is our ceiling. With that said, we wouldn’t have won these games in years past. You were so negative in this episode, you couldn’t talk about 3 4th down conversions to go get that playoff birth? This is the most hope I’ve had for a Franklin coached team because I thought they would choke and actually lose. There were many frustrating things is this game, but you missed the point. Franklin n staff won and are inches from the playoffs. We have like 5 NFL players on this roster. The playoff will boost recruiting and we can go from there. But to watch that and not just enjoy the W, I’m sorry for you. You’re missing out.

Episode 201 is 21 minutes I’ll never get back
Why would you publish this episode? It was a steaming pile of buckeyes. Justin goes to practice, doesn’t see anything or know who anyone is. He doesn’t talk to anyone of significance or get any real info. Tom asks Justin repeatedly about what he saw and Justin repeatedly answers “Like I said, I really could see much and I don’t know who anyone was.” This episode seemed like they were contractually obligated to put out some sort of podcast because of sponsorship agreements. It was 21 minutes long and about 6 minutes were sponsor reads. It was the worst episode they’ve ever produced.

    Justin is a great addition
Justin King has become one of my favorite voices in Penn State media. He combines player perspective, nfl knowledge, talent evaluation expertise, and balanced critique of team strength and weakness. Definitely an upgrade. Tom does a good job of maintaining tempo and topic. I don’t miss the previous negative podcast tone at all.

    Need to prepare
You can’t do a podcast and take listener comments without listening to the post game presser and such. The James Franklin responsibility response in his presser just got completely missed in the latest podcast because of not being fully prepared.

Probably the 6th best PSU podcast
If you love Penn State and hate everything about Penn State this is the podcast for you.

Review (D Will episode) and OC episode
Love hearing authentic feedback from former great PSU players (D Williams speaking the truth)! 5 stars. OC episode was not informative about PSU at all, the guest clearly lacks deep knowledge of PSU players and coaches. Doesn’t make sense for PSU podcast. 1 star.

    Great work guys!
I enjoy listening to this podcast since it has the perspective of a former Penn State player. They do a great job.

Review - Worst point for 4 star
Love the show, super informative and makes it very easy to stay up to date with Penn State football news and analysis from experienced guys. Only reason for four stars is because of the sound recently. The mixing/sound levels are all off. I’m turning the podcast down constantly for Tom & then I’m turning it up all the time for Justin. Justin will come in quiet and then get much louder over. It gets a little frustrating to be adjusting the volume so much, my hearing is a little worse than average but I’ve talked with a few listeners that I know and they have said similar things unprompted to me. Thank you and keep up the great work!

    Elliott Washington
Is a cornerback that the coaches are excited about. Tony Rojas is the freshman linebacker that has been getting praise.

Guys - usually you have a great show, but get Dave Jones off of here. He’s always hated Penn State, and his analysis of the entire situation with Allar/Clifford was an awful take.

    Love these guys
Matt and Tom do a fantastic job in there previews and post games covering all aspects of the games in an objective way. I appreciate that off season they bring on former players to interview and discuss recruiting. Keep it up!

Missed the mark on episode 51
Love the show and always appreciate the insights. But I personally think you missed the mark on Franklins presser about NIL. First of all, he was loose and playful during the entire presser and what you saw was only a portion of that. And his strong reaction was to the NIL topic only and the new world of College football. He wasn’t making excuses about Penn State’s lack of success over the past several years. And the reality is, if we all want PSU to remain competitive in recruiting and get the 4-5 star recruits we need to be able to match what the competition is offering. This is a college football problem, not a James Franklin problem. Can we instead recruit 2-3 star guys and not need as much money? Sure, but even with great game planning and coaching, the players on your roster matter. Size and speed matters. So either Penn State says they aren’t paying and tries winning with 2-3 star athletes or instead says they’re willing to pay the money other top programs are paying to recruit and keep 4-5 stars. Why is this a Franklin problem?
