    This is a great way to catch up on clever and interesting comic stories that I might never otherwise get around to actually reading. Guido and Rob’s vast knowledge and insights help put everything in context of larger comic book histories and make you think about some of your favorite characters in new and exciting ways.

    What If I don’t know anything about the comics?
    Not gonna lie. I went into this show thinking it was a podcast about coming up with “what if” scenarios. 10 seconds into the show, I come to learn it’s actually about the comic book series “What If” comic. Yes I’m a dumba**. For one who doesn’t follow the series, these two made it easy to follow along. So don’t be scared off if you know nothing about this comic series “What If” cuz these two while teach you while being entertained. 5stars

    I love this show so much. Rob and Guido have such a fun, original way of looking at classic What If…? comics and talking about them. I’ve learned a lot about established characters with the background info they provide, and I really appreciate how they show the ripple effects of the comics they’re talking about with issues that’ve come to be later on. It’s a wonderful podcast that doesn’t gatekeep, I’m so glad I subscribed to it.

    There are a lot of podcasts out there babbling about the latest issues and creators. Dear Watchers is not that. They’ve got an angle, they have an obsession. Marvel beautifully weird What If series. Guido & Rob are fantastic hosts, creating conversations that are warm, inviting, and most importantly, entertaining.     Super entertaining pod. Guido and Rob have a great rapport and compliment each other perfectly. I really like Guido’s erudition paired with Rob’s more general genre knowledge of horror etc. can’t wait for episode 2!

    Rob and Guido do a thorough job of covering classic Marvel What If issues and the comics and storylines that inspired them and then later influenced. Both hosts bring a passion for stories and a deep knowledge of comics and interesting creator backstories. They introduce a nice blend of comic, TV, film, and MCU content so that even non-comics fans will appreciate the connections they make. Listening to this podcast will also help listeners get ready for the upcoming Disney Plus What If series!
