Nature #213

In Season 4 of the Gratitude Blooming podcast, Wayfinding Through the Unknown, a monthly conversation hosted by Belinda Liu and Omar Brownson, we slow down to explore wild, emergent living, guided by the rhythms of nature and the wisdom within.

Joining us as a regular guest is the brilliant Dr. Paul Wang, whose deep knowledge of Chinese medicine, Daoism, and alchemical traditions expands our understanding of transformation beyond the elements. Together, we embrace the practice of pausing, noticing, and feeling—grounding ourselves in presence as we navigate life's unfolding.

The Gratitude Blooming card deck was inspired by the artist Arlene Kim Suda and her 100 Days of Blooming Love art project. Please rate, review and subscribe. New conversations each month. We want to hear what you're grateful for. Learn more at www.gratitudeblooming.com

    A Beautiful Discovery
While recently browsing through the listing of podcasts for something new to listen to, The Gratitude Booming podcast found me. At first I hesitated to listen to the most recent episode because the podcast producer had just passed away, but in that short span of sharing, I felt somehow embraced by caring voices that made me feel safe, calm, and welcome. The unabashed vulnerability may have been raw with the pain of loss, but the love-filled stories told about their beloved producer filled my heart with a renewed awareness of gratitude that I would be hard-pressed to describe—gratitude for all the people in my life. This podcast is simply its own name—Gratitude Blooming. While listening, I could actually feel gratitude not only blooming in me, but also taking root. It was very powerful and deeply beautiful. I definitely plan to listen to all previous episodes and would encourage anyone who is reading this to give this podcast a try. You may be pleasantly surprised to find something wonderful arising in you as you listen.

    Authentic and heartfelt connection
This podcast is one of my favorites! Each episode is a chance to sit down with two down-to-earth, thoughtful individuals and listen to them reflect on nature-inspired themes relevant to day-to-day life. I particularly like the vulnerability and self-reflection that the podcast invokes. It’s rare for a podcast to illicit such vulnerability.

A podcast that walks the talk and is a catalyst for the world
Every episode I’ve listened to so far has provided timely perspective and reflection. Omar and Belinda dialogue with each other at a beautiful pace, leaving room for powerful silence. I feel like I’m in the conversation with them. The artist and community reflections are wonderful too. This podcast has deepened my practice with the GB card deck as well.

    Changed My Mind (set)!
I had the greatest experience one morning last week. I set out on my morning hike and once I’d taken in a little nature/solitude, I cued up my usual news podcast (CNN, NPR or The Daily), but instead got Omar & Belinda on the Gratitude Blooming podcast. Talk about a sea change to my morning! It changed the entire course of my day, for the better, needless to say.

    Such rawness
Appreciate the authenticity of the stories shared and intentional shift away from heady expert talk by podcast hosts to true sharing of vulnerability from real people. I normally don’t listen to podcasts but I will definitely be tuning into this one for inspiration each week!
