The other side of the debate. Now that the citizens of the western states want to limit out of state hunters. The states make the fees higher and the preference points system more difficult. Why would I care if they sell all the public land out west. I will never be able to hunt on it. If they sell all the public land pay down the debt my taxes will go down. I might be able to buy land in my own state to hunt on. If western states are raising fees to limit access it is no use to me to have public land in the west. It is only a benefit to the residence of that state now. Many hunters might start thinking that way. Hunting out west use to be accessible to everyone. Now it is only a dream

Excellent podcast just need some new episodes

I was a little surprised at first to see the OL team jump into podcasting, but I’m glad they did. The kinds of in-depth and personal stories that you expect from Outdoor Life turn out to translate very well into an audio format, and the result is a unique blend of insight and perspective on interesting conservation topics that are succinct enough to knock out while mowing the lawn. Highly recommend.

Finally a podcast about the experience, the story of the hunt!
