This podcast makes my heart sing!
I started calling this my favorite podcast halfway through the first episode (and I have not changed my mind yet!). David Lesondak has such a wide range of amazing life experiences, learnings, and adventures which he is able to weave into his interviews as great questions to his guests, clear metaphors to help the listener understand complicated concepts, and occasional colorful stories to lighten up the mood. There are so many things I enjoy about listening, but the most important thing so far is that he goes deep into surprising topics with his guests that I don’t see coming. In his interview with James Nestor (Breath author) they mostly discussed things that were not covered in the book. In his interview with Neil Theise, he was able to bring out interesting highlights of Neil’s career that I had not known previously, and in his interviews about the fascial plastination project his conversation with his guests really have an intimate, behind-the-scenes picture of their experience... including the hard work, the friendships, and the passion behind the project. When I listen to Body Talk, I want to be prepared with a notepad and pen for all the learning, a glass of wine because I feel like I’m having an amazing conversation at a cocktail party, and a big hug because I am so grateful for these conversations on the magic and the mystery and the wholeness of the human body (And. So. Much. More.)

The best of scientific inquiry; the best of open inquiry
How refreshing to hear a body-focused podcast that’s about exploring together in a non-competitive and generative way. David’s bringing us luminaries from across the field, but you’ll feel like you’re sitting around the fire together, just relaxing and hanging out. Isn’t this how the most amazing revelations pop up?
