I decided to listen to a different version of a story I’d heard as a child-The Timmerman/Logue Feud, Episode 3-and got drawn into the storytelling! Very well-researched and extremely entertaining.

You guys do a fantastic job with this! I love hearing the local stories I know about with a new twist, the historical stories, and the ones I’ve never heard of. I’m a nurse and your show gets me back and forth to work for my night shifts.

I just recently found this podcast and am super proud and impressed!!

I found this podcast about a month ago and now I’m addicted. May I also say “I’m over the moon!” True Crime is my favorite Genre and this podcast does not disappoint. Come along with me and learn about the heinous crimes and history of SC. A new case is discussed every week so you won’t be bored!

For the last couple months y’all have been apart of my daily routine. From driving to work getting me through work and the drive home. This is the 3rd podcast I’ve listened to from episode 1 to the newest. Glad to be up to date but sad I gotta wait all week for a new episode!

I enjoyed listening to Mario on this one and his thoughts. Also, felt bad for the former Chief. He was wrong to rob the banks but I think he really needed help after his surgery to help his new issues! This was a short but good one.

Found this podcast while searching for an update on Duncan Proctor. Excellent back and forth between the hosts and conversational type delivery feels like I’m sitting amongst old friends. Highly recommend this show especially if your heart is forever in the Low Country.

Just listened to 119. A lot of the characters have ties to the Murdaugh family. The defunct oyster shelling company where the unloaded drugs was owned by the Boulwares and Mixons who were witnesses in the Murder Trial of Alex.

Just started listening and really enjoy the podcast.

The podcast comes off as if the female host (Danielle) is just reading a news article summarizing each case, with Matt chiming in with reactions so that it sounds more conversational. It’s not. There’s absolutely no background into the people involved in the crimes, be it the perpetrator(s) or the victim(s). Lastly, Danielle smacks her mouth DIRECTLY into the microphone every time she takes a breath before starting a new sentence. Drives me nuts.

This is my favorite true crime podcast. Matt and Danielle do a great job bringing SC crimes to the listeners. They are a dynamic duo! I also like how they bring the history of the place they are covering. Very interesting! I can’t wait for Mondays when I can listen to a new episode.

Keep up the great work, by far one of my favorite podcasts with lots of local stories that hit home, love how personal the show feels, and the history that is given before and during shows. The coverage of the cases is also done correctly, not overly done and straight to the Points needed to deliver good content. Love it!

This week’s 3/3/25 episode brought me to tears. I had an appointment at MUSC the day Officer Turners was transported to Charleston. I remember pulling over, getting out of the car and hold my hand over my heart as dozens of police officers escorted her even helicopters in the air.

I started listening a little more than a couple years ago and marathon- all eighty-something podcasts at the time. Since then, I have religiously listened every Sunday night/Monday. I always look forward to your weekly podcast. 😁 You guys bring the perfect balance!

I just finished the Florence County episode & I just want to commend you both on how beautifully and respectfully you shared this story. Being from Darlington County and a former recipient of the Officer Terrence Carraway Scholarship, this story holds a special place in my heart. Thank you again. You guys never fail to do an amazing job!!

I just want you guys to know how much I love and his Podcast. I’m from Newberry County, S.C. what I love most about you two is that your respectful of the cases, the families of the victims, but the thing I like the most is you guys let your feelings come through, I can feel it right through my earbuds. I love that you cover local cases. You should look into the case of Brooke Holsnback, she was a student at Clemson University was found murdered in a pond on or close to campus. To my knowledge it is still unsolved. I am a retired 911 dispatcher who can pass on another couple of cases if you’re interested.

Love this podcast! Your voices are great and it’s great hearing local stories! (My GSPs names are Red &Roxie, plus a teacup Yorkie named Tito 🤣🤣)

It’s amazing to hear the different SC crimes in our small towns. I really enjoy the background of the locations.

I am not from SC, but I love true crime and hearing about “local” true crime, so this is perfect for me! I love listening to y’all’s stories and conversations. How did I just recently discover this podcast? As a South Carolinian, I thoroughly enjoy listening to these stories from my home state.

I have never been a podcast person but a good friend of mine told me about this one and I’m hooked. I started listening the beginning of November 2024 and completely caught up now. If y’all haven’t read the book Vengeance at Meeting Street you should! That is if you liked episode 3.

This is my favorite podcast in the world. Matt and Danielle research each case thoroughly and present in a very victim centered way. Love it. Recommend it to everyone! Love the shoutouts to pets on episodes, we lost our baby Jester (who was my podcast listening partner) at Christmas and I immediately thought of Danielle and her pups.

Just discovered at the end of 2024 & I’m glad I did. Enjoy the classic SC cases retold & have discovered many new ones! I’ve binged close to 100 since Christmas! I keep up the hard work !

The 2 hosts are very enjoyable. Of course the episodes can be sad, but hosts keep your attention to the end. Glad I found you!

I was told about this podcast maybe a year ago. I've been listening ever since. I'm only on episode 95 (I think!). I listen on my drive to/from work and if I'm on a road trip. You've both grown so much from your first episode.. I can't wait until I'm caught up! I moved to Augusta at the end of 2022 but I work in Aiken. It's cool to hear about the history of the cities/towns in South Carolina! Thanks for all you do!
