Devout AgnosticWhat an amazing serviceIntimate. Authentic. If you struggle with sobriety or happiness in sobriety, listen for the similarities. I constantly hear bits of my story. I have much hope because these people have been able to surrender, be willing and accept God's grace, one day at time. Thank you, Howard! May God continue to bless you.

SavaFan!A DRUNKâS REVIEWI know Howard personally and he lives a great program. I did an interview with him a couple of years ago and he is an incredible interviewer!! After 13 years of sobriety at the time, he asked me several thought provoking questions. I highly recommend this podcast. Chris S.

Staya leafWeird BreathingVery inspirational stories but I am very distracted by the faint almost wheezing faint whistly breathing I keep hearing I think from the host? This is purely as a help to your podcast of something you might not be aware of.

Mackle KangThis podcast give me hopeIâve listened to a dozen or so of these interviews and get so much out of them. The production quality is great as are the interview questions, the pacing, and pretty much everything about the podcast. Here is an example of a truly altruistic service. No profit motive, no personal gain motive accept to help the next alcoholic. These interviews give me hope and for that Iâm thankful.

Life Is Wonderful LoveRecovery StoriesI enjoy the different stories as each of us adds value to our recoveries. We connect with each other due to our pasts and we push each other to better lives now. Howard is an excellent host.

Hockinson WaExcellentThis is a great podcastâŚso many times I have heard an interview and it brings me back to the core of my addiction and the words of your interviewees being me peace. Please let Corby know that God spoke through him to me. I needed to hear his words!

Big Book PodcastBrilliantly honors anonymity! When I heard about this podcast, I was concerned that it might violate AAâs tenets of anonymity. So I read the showâs description and listened to some episodes. I can cheerfully report that Howard absolutely complies w/AAâs principles and traditions. Unless you know his guests personally, Howard has edited out anything said in the interview that could identify his AA guests to anyone who doesnât already know them. This protects their anonymity. It also seems to make his guests more comfortable relating their personal stories to listeners. Bravo, Howard, for the great podcast and for respecting the 12th Traditionâs spiritual foundation of anonymity.

MindYouBusinesVictoria HShe was my first friend in recovery. Iâm listening closely and am finding things out about her, that I didnât reallize in some parts of her story, how much we have in common. Thank you for this. After this I will be listening to Wes, my2nd or 3rd friend in recovery.

Putt*EndorsementI have been remiss and possibly owe Howard an amends for not doing more reviews of his podcast. Every podcast I listen to I come away from it feeling better. I have great admiration for Howard and the work he does to help us all in the program.

Concerned power userA terrific way you hear to real and insightful stories of recoveryOMG. The Scott B interview blew me away. When right in the middle of his treatment he had his spiritual awakening. It changed his life completely. What a story. It really opened my eyes. Heâs is an example of each of us. We all had our own spiritual awakening. Thank you Howard. Iâve heard hundreds of great speakers but I love your interviews even more. Itâs like Iâm talking to the people myself. They are so insightful and helpful because youâve been there. You know exactly what to ask. Your empathy is powerful. I get another perspective of AA and recovery with each of them. Itâs different from hearing a meeting speaker. Thank you. Iâll keep listening for sure. These interviews even help me with my many years of recovery.

CSolsvigDifferent way to hear recovery storiesI really appreciate the different approach to presenting and exhibiting someoneâs story. Howard asks and poses questions to his guest to bring out their story and which helps answer questions that might even be on my mind as well, and addresses a lot of topics we tend to shy away from. I came for Tomâs story, and stayed for Howardâs conversations. Thank you, Howard, for starting this podcast, itâs wonderfully engaging.

Onedayatatime8Tom DThe person speaking, Tom, has such comfort in telling his story that I would recommend this to anyone. He is relaxed, easygoing, somber when called for, open about deeply personal events. This is a five star podcast. Thanks for making it happen, Howard and Tom.

artbelmontAA recovery interview.Howardâs interview with Alex L was both moving and very informative. Obviously anyone who can stay sober and still maintain spirituality while struggling with multiple sclerosis can offer us all helpful coping strategies and guidance. Howardâs interviewing style also was very enlightening and informative. It is easy to see a meeting up with someone like Howard could open the door to AA for many of us. I hope he continues to do such informative and enlightening interviews.
