    Hey now!
It’s hard to say exactly why I like this podcast but I do, sort of a lot, I guess. It’s the only podcast I never seem to miss an episode of. People ask why I like it and I find myself struggling to articulate a good reason. It is probably because I’m of a certain age and kind of grumpy and amused by everything. Much like our hosts. It’s probably because it’s pretty light on politics and news. That helps. I’ve also followed both of Michael and David’s careers. Which probably helps. If you went to pop up flea back in the day or have enjoyed Coggins writings you might find yourself liking it. If you do tell me why.

    The NEW odd couple?
Michael Williams is a cultural/style phillistine — what David Coggins reaps from this collaboration is a mystery. Perhaps it's a fetish, barbarians at the gate. If you're not into that — it's a hard pass.

Approachable conversations about being more intentional.
To me, this is a podcast where two friends, with a wealth of knowledge on ways to go about live in an intentional way (being intentional in our relationships with others, daily life, travel, goods that last, and parts of cultures that deserve some focus but do not get it as much these days). The two speak from experience but not that their way is the only way to experience. I look forward to my weekly visit with them to escape for an hour with a drink in hand, and musings to take away. Worth the listen and worth the sub stack subscription to the writings and other content on life, travel, fishing, dress, and friendships.
