    Essential Companion for Connected Parenting!
When I’m struggling to stay connected and present with my kids, I spend 30 minutes on a walk or doing house work with this podcast. THANK YOU to the Empowered to Connect team for keeping me connected to the principles I value most in parenting and reminding me it’s ok to mess up- and how best to repair! My 7-year old recently described MFCC as “a place where parents go to understand what kids need.” So beautiful and so true! We are so thankful for the work of MFCC, Empowered to Connect, and this podcast!

    Love it!
Love the podcast. Can you explain your connection to TBRI? I’m a little confused. Also I’m from Memphis and would love to know where you are there.

    Fantastic
I am not an adoptive parent, but I think that this show appeals to all parents trying to figure it out. Plus, you have got to love the smooth radio voice of Mr. JD Wilson!

    Gold for adoptive/foster parents!
I need this content weekly to refocus on TBRI principles and give me strength for the journey as a parent of four kiddos with trauma histories. Thank you!

    So encouraging!
Thanks for great content that informs and equips, without condemning or shaming! It’s refreshing to hear from hosts that are as real, flawed, and desperate to do better as I am.

    Encouraging and Relevant
Love hearing local voices talk through these relevant topics! With each episode, I’ve been encouraged, and I have also walked away with something new to reflect on or implement with my own children and students (and the grownups!) in my life.
  • Just another safe momma
    Thank you!
As a momma, a survivor of abuse, and an advocate for families this feels empowering to me. Thank you.

    Great resource for foster parents!
When we became foster parents, our agency used some of ETC’s curriculum in our training classes. It proved to be very helpful and valuable when parenting children from such hard places. This podcast will be so helpful especially in the world of foster care!

    Relevant to all
The Ottinger’s wisdom, passion and knowledge have equipped many across the U.S. As an ETC Parent Trainer, I can attest hue valuable this information they are bringing is to not only parents but churches, teachers, social workers and more. The need for more trauma informed, brain-based education is crucial.
