Yes, a Stripper Podcast

27

Formerly known as "Yes, a Stripper Podcast".Strippers are real people that are capable of amazing things, in and outside of the strip club.  On “YAS Podcast” each week with a different guest, our hosts, Onyx Sachi, Daisy Ducati, GiGi Holliday, and AM Davies, discuss what strippers are up to, what the climate in and outside of the clubs is like and how social classifications can be harmful to marginalized groups.  Strippers, sex workers, pole dancers and civilians can learn from stripper and sex worker community members and their allies.

    Excited they’re back!
I like this podcast because each host and guest has their own unique experience but they’re all coming together to share their stories and build community. It’s really beautiful. They are also insanely funny and smart! Also the store has some great merch! I can’t wait to see what they do next 🫶

    A must-listen for all feminists!
This podcast has taught me so much! Things I thought I knew or understood have been absolutely blown wide open for me with this podcast and shown me that including and supporting sex workers is NECESSARY as they are the ones really challenging the patriarchy and other power structures. So thankful to hear these stories and be better educated by these amazing humans.

    Great listen!
As a civilian pole dancer myself, this podcast provides a way for me to hear about the experiences of strippers and sex workers that I might not otherwise learn about. Especially during the pandemic. So thankful for the people who share their stories and for AMD for providing a platform. Oh and it’s a great podcast to add to a list for intersectional feminism!

    Everyone should listen!
Heard about this podcast from Nicole Beyer’s and so glad I tuned in. Yes, a Stripper should be required listening for anyone who says they care about social justice or #BLM. Thanks for all you do!

Light-Hearted Pod With a Beautiful Sentiment
Thank you for what you are doing and the message you are sharing Queen Of Sexy!! I am what you are referring to as a “civilian” pole dancer, and I have love and reverence for the women who forged the way for this extremely athletic and physically demanding talent to be available to people both inside and outside of the club! I have so much love and respect for women who work in the industry. Thank you for being open and sharing your journey. ❤️ I really enjoyed the first episode and am looking forward to what else you have in store. I’ve done some research of my own about the history of pole studios and how pole dancing made its way from inside of clubs to being on track to be recognized as an Olympic sport, and it’s so interesting— I hope you plan to dive into the histories of stripping, pole dancing, the sex industry, etc. as you progress with your Podcast. Can’t wait for more episodes!
