camtmoUsually love, but SKIP Erica BGreat apolitical show. Real news. Very balanced. But this week brought on Erica B, and she is terrible. 1 star. She is polarizing and snarky, in the worst way. Better off flying solo or bring back Kevin S, all time favorite.

Jennessy92Good and bad…I really like the host, Brian, but David from Seattle Times is such a bummer regarding the city of Seattle. I wish they would rotate guests and maybe have someone with a little positivity when thinking about the future of the city.

works when can open itGood info but need an insiderThe info provided on current issues within the council is helpful but I think it’s lost the insider edge. Kevin’s departure left a hole since he got into the details on many topics and had background on why something was going the way it was. He also had history on council actions and what they were really trying to do. The new guy (Kroman?) isn’t covering the council and doesn’t seem interested to get into details. On today’s podcast, when asked about the tone of council on a topic, that he doesn’t know since he covers transportation not council.

uuhdgjbiGlad it is endingNow I never have to hear about a new batch of muffins ever again.

EfbrazilGood wonky podcast on seattle politics, but could be a lot betterThe foundation here is solid- callahan is good at keeping things moving, and the two know what’s up in city council. I’m sponsoring them on Patreon. There’s a lot that needs work though. Instead of just reporting on what happened in council, the show would be a lot better if they had a council member on each show and asked some interesting questions. They also have this dumb recipe segment at the end that makes no sense for the podcast.

Reasonable SeattleiteToo DogmaticGlad someone is reporting on the SCC but had to unsubscribe after hearing Kevin Schofield present his political views and theories as if they were orthodoxy. If you stick to the facts, people will stick with you!

XvorsxThis is top notchInformation, exposition, analytics with the high level of nounces. These guys are my Seattle news heroes! Agree with the other commenter, the coffee shop sound is cute but distracting. Would not downgrade to 4 for this neat, but the point still holds.

206reviewsExcellent informationThis podcast provides essential information and analysis related to the actions of the Seattle City Council. One minor issue, which accounts for the 4 vs. 5 star rating, is the fake coffee shop noise background. Why do you guys pipe that in? It’s very distracting to me. If you want to plug the coffee, give them free ad space on the show. Thank you.
