alanna1970Global citizensThis is an absolutely amazing awareness platform! So many artists from all over the world!! I’m happy Hozier-Byrne is bringing more attention to this!!! I have watched the last few years that it has been televised!

PGHRhondaWhat a giftWhat a beautiful gift to share in Hozier’s deep dive into the issues of the world. The same issues he takes on in his music as well as his soul. Please keep the Cry Power podcasts coming. When all feels broken in the world, you and your guests offer the crack in the cement where the blade of grass can grow.

Ashbie SnowdenAndrew Hozier-Byrne......Is there anything he can’t do? This is absolutely brilliant and I don’t know who else to recommend this to. I listened to the first episode with my mum and dad and they quite like it also. There simply aren’t enough stars on this scale to rate how much I love this! Cheers, Andrew. Just when I couldn’t be anymore speechless after hearing your music, here you come with an amazing podcast.

Early user91PowerfulI love this podcast because it highlights things you might not know about, through people you do know about. It is very interesting to have a peak at several great activists work, and follow them through their journey.

Kaglover77New Favorite!I was hooked at Hozier, but his intelligence, commitment to activism, accent, and guest list make this my new favorite podcast! I especially loved the episode with Bono, one of my all-time favorite musicians and activists, and was glad to hear of their mutual admiration and interests. Looking forward to more!

francesaurMeaningful podcastHozier’s music has always had political meaning, but with Nina Cried Power, he brought even more social justice to his work. This podcast is a natural continuation of this.

XendzaWonderful! This incredible man hosts a podcast on how mainstream-genre music instigates or reflects social change. For a lot of us, music is irresistible - and we cannot help ourselves but spend plenty of time with it. It might be a good idea to occasionally question what is it that our ‘sound diet’ includes - what kind of idea deeds the music we are drawn to plants within us. Stars of today’s music scene exist in a space between political leaders and those whose name does not ring a bell; some of them more aware than others of their soft power. In the sea of performers who have small villages optimizing their media presence in order to generate better revenue, rare are those who take their further-reaching voices to contribute to or celebrate human accomplishment in creating a better, kinder, more charitable society.

Elizabeth EmerBalm for the activist and non-activist (everyone’s!) soulAs mentioned by guest Annie Lennox (and the same is true for her), Andrew is not only a musical bard but a bard who speaks directly to, and gives balm to the heart of anyone feeling the aching loneliness of being just one tiny drop in the vast ocean of the world’s problems. I really look forward to learning and taking actions with the help of Global Citizen’s initiative. Sincere gratitude to Andrew, Annie and all future guest. Highly recommend!
