After the whole Neil Gaiman podcast and fallout, I had been wondering what other horrid behaviors are going unchecked among us - it turns out, plenty. And Sonia and Margo are here to make sure you know ‘‘twas ever thus. I have been working my way through this podcast on my way back from the school run. Some of the stories I am well acquainted with, but others are new to me and well presented. The hosts are the first to tell you that they use salty language - so if that bothers you going in, you have been warned. I have no issue with this at all; if you’re talking about heinous behavior, the chances are you are not a child or naïf, so you can handle a grown-up word or 2. By the way, although there is some heavy stuff discussed, the show can be very funny - The Rex Harrison episode had me snorting coffee out of my nose! Keep on creepin it real ladies x

If woke means accountability and the belief that creepy, harmful behavior is abnormal - then this show is super woke. If this show offends you - you need to self-reflect on your own thoughts and actions- because you might be a creep.

I love the show, but my God, the ads are SO intrusive cutting in mid-sentence. I get you need ads, but please stop having them mid-sentence. Extremely annoying.

What I love about this show is the refusal to make excuses for bad behavior. These women believe in accountability. I am so impressed with the research that goes into each episode. We all have to deal with creeps in real life and it is emotionally satisfying to listen to these ladies call out these creeps.

Sonia and Margo are the perfect elixir for post election malaise. I’m usually absorbing progressive political ‘casts to galvanize my will and assuage my disappointment in what our country is becoming. Where it feels like the creeps have won. These ladies still keep me in the sphere of politics while letting me leave the center of it behind by expressing the grassroots behind it all. I need new altruistic friends now more than ever. I can attest to who’s a creep. I’m writing from Alabama! Right wing religious nuts, Southern fried manosphere through red neck hate groups to trad soccer mom stalkers coming at you, when you are trying to mind your business, I’m entrenched in it all. A true example of Mean Girls, they attack anyone who dares to be different or apart from their club. They are truly the worst creeps.

This is one of the most eloquent ways I’ve heard explained how victims of abuse are socialized to minimize and downplay what they’ve experienced. Silencing victims is in the abusers interest and anyone questioning why someone waits to or doesn’t speak up in these situations is beautifully answered, right here. I love this podcast. I appreciate the research based information, and how it’s acknowledged creeps can be funny/smart/good looking/talented (etc.). Doesn’t mean they are not creepy.

The show scripts are unpracticed, and show hosts don’t even do enough research to know how to properly pronounce the names of their show subjects at times. They decide they know the reason WHY a person acts the way he or she does without backing it with research. I should find that my political leanings and opinions mostly line up with their content, but I can’t get over the unbalanced bullying and the fact that they call themselves, “two nice ladies,” when they bash other people based on assumptions. Nice ladies or not, I’m done listening.

Such a great idea. I love that there is a creep and non creep as a sort of palette cleanser. The episodes are always interesting and there’s a wide variety of people. I’m seeing a lot of upset people in reviews. I guess they don’t like seeing their faves called out as creeps. The truth hurts, to some, it seems…

Why? You can dish out your anti white, straight, Christian criticism, but you can’t take it when someone calls you out on it. What a bunch of creeps YOU two are.

Lots of shallow “you go, girl” takes and cheap shots. I guess it’s all there in the concept and title — “ha, ha, let’s have fun throwing people we half read about under the bus!” For deeper dives and more compassionate takes, I suggest You’re Wrong About.

Really enjoying the show and learning a lot about some creeps I knew and others I did not. I find myself especially loving the not-a-creep segments because they help wash the ick off my hands after listening to the stories of creepitude! I was listening recently and I think it was Sonia who said the pandemic isn’t over and then mentioned masks and they need to protect our most vulnerable. This is the episode about ugly laws. I really hope people are still wearing not just masks but respirators. It’s true. Nothing has changed really, because the vaccine does not prevent transmission, as great as it is. The pandemic isn’t over, and if this podcast teaches you anything, it’s that we need to protect each other.

“What a Creep” was my top podcast for another year in a row. Margo and Sonia do a great job with the episodes and crediting their sources. They have managed to make it one of the most entertaining podcasts I’ve ever listened to. I try to describe it to loved ones in my life as “casual” and “well organized” or “witty and informative” while managing to make you feel like you’re at a dinner table with them discussing the creeps and non creeps. On an ending note I want to give a shout out to Max as well, because I live for the “Dammit Max” moments. Keep up the great work ya’ll!🙂

I love this podcast so much - listening to Sonia and Margot’s banter always makes me feel like I’m hanging out with my BBFs. Hot tip: I love to listen while cleaning - after binge-listening to a few episodes, my bathtub is SPARKLING clean… I put all my rage-energy into my scrub brush.

Amazing show, well sourced, entertaining, and informative.

The only creeps in this show are the two hosts. Dimwits without intelligence. No.

It takes a lot for a podcast to be bad, considering most are nothing but back and forth talk between guests/hosts. Was looking forward to a specific episode (killers of the flower moon recent one) but - their thoughts were all over place, it’s hard to follow, they seemed very unprepared and considering you’re trying to follow with the story - it just made it annoying. If they spent more time actually caring for the episodes quality - and less time with small talk and jokes which they seem to do with ease, this podcast would have great potential.

I just discovered What a Creep last week, and I love this podcast so much! The episode where they give a verbal lashing to Matt Gaetz was pure gold. So glad I added this podcast to my rotation and wish I would’ve found it sooner!

These women are so entertaining. I just started listening today and got hooked in less than five minutes. The epic creep factor, the investigating, the humor, and more than anything…the unapologetic vulgarity, it is just so well done and just so ME. I’m a picky podcaster listener and I have zero complaints on this one. It’s AH-mazing. Go on with yo bad selves, ladies!

This is a good podcast but calling your cohost your “cohort” is bugging me. You are two people. That’s not a cohort.

Funny, insightful & witty. So many creeps, so little time.

'I'm new here, but I'm really enjoying the show so far!' ETA: I'll probably never be caught up on the episodes, but I love how they seem to not let the creepitude of a person affect their enjoyment of their work. They still like their favorite movies and shows, even if they find out someone on there is a creep. I have a huge time "separating the artist from the art" myself. I think the friends have helped me chill out just a little bit. No, they don't suffer monsters, but it's not all or nothing with them, and I appreciate that.
