The Last Bohemians is an award-winning, critically acclaimed podcast that meets maverick and radical women in arts and culture and takes listeners on an evocative trip through their extraordinary lives. From subversive musicians and style icons to game-changing artists, these are women who have lived life on the edge and who still refuse to play by the rules. The series was created in 2019 by host and journalist Kate Hutchinson and is produced by a team of rising women and non-binary talents in audio, with photography by Laura Kelly.Season 1 features Molly Parkin, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Pauline Black and more; Season 2 stars Judy Collins, Gee Vaucher, Zandra Rhodes and P.P. Where else would you hear media like this? Stories of exceptional and independent women in their 60s, 70s, 80s, who lived their lives radically long before it was “cool.” Props to the creators: it’s rebellious in itself to give these women a way to share their stories. Listeners like myself (27) can learn from these women about sexuality, self love, living your truth, and how to not give a $&@! what the haters have to say. Thank you!

Two episodes in and I’m in love!

I am so thrilled to have found this show. I wanted to listen to every episode before writing a review, but am too enthusiastic and don’t want to rush through all available episodes. I’m rather obsessed with hearing about people who have been (and still are) true to themselves, especially women. The interviews I’ve listened to are so good, from the choice of the subject, to the questions and really great editing. I’ll be recommending this!
