This podcast is on my constant rotation. I’be been working at camps for about 9 years and I lean new things when I listen to this podcast and I get reminders of things I forgot or haven’t given much thought to- valuable listening experience

Hi I’m leah and me and my school/grade went to high-5 last week! They might not remeber me but I over-came my fear about hights! And they also got my teacher to do it! Loved the podcast Phil!

Regardless if you are new to the field or have been immersed in it for awhile there is content knowledge with some raw organic humor (thanks Phil) for all professionals to benefit from. Love recommending it to our students as a great outside resource to learn from.

Phil and the team @ High 5, this podcast is great. I like that this podcast has something for all abilities of people interested in Adventure / Experiential Education. The format varies from the host (Phil) solo exploring a topic to roundtables with the High 5 team on specific topics as well as interviews (with educators within High 5 and outside the organization). I am glad that I found this podcast. I have been in this field for 20 years and enjoy brainstorming with practitioners to take new ideas into my practice. I enjoy tuning in and listening to this informal, yet professional, opportunity to listen in and grow.

This episode with Chad Littlefield was the first I listened to it Vertical Playpen. I loved the specific and actionable takeaways that I heard. I will definitely be adding this podcast to my list of regulars!

I work by myself running a ropes course. It can get pretty lonely when you don’t have anyone to bounce ideas off of or generate new ways to do old activities!!! When I found this podcast my whole world opened up again! I am so excited to learn and relearn activities, best practices and really enjoy the conversations as they happen. High 5 is able to provide great nuggets of useful information in every episode I have listened to. If nothing else they provide a good laugh at a corny joke at the end.

Highly recommended for anybody looking to sharpen their facilitation skills.

Always hear a nugget of info that is worth tucking into the work basket. Really appreciate the sharing of mindset and perspective of workplace challenges, growth and tools that enhance experiences.

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the amazing High 5 staff at a deeper level through these interviews. The trainer tips are sao practical and Tinker Talk sometimes challenges my mnay assumptions about adventure programming and the world of group facilitation.

Phil has an excellent voice for podcasting, and an excellent interview presence. His questions are the right blend of intentional, reflective, and humorous. The Tinker Talk series highlights the strong bonds the training team at High 5 has, and Road to High 5 segments highlights the broad diversity of experiences that it takes to get to be one of the best in the industry!

I might be a little biased, but this is a great podcast! It’s short and sweet, and takes a fun look at the people who make High 5 Adventure tick. It’s entertaining, but also honestly examines real people in the outdoor/adventure education world! I can’t wait to keep listening!
