3 local friends who are lifelong fans and season ticket holders with guests occasionally. Nothing is sacred here as they go in depth for all things White Sox and more. Sure you can go to MLB or even local sports radio, but these guys are creatures of Bridgeport and baseball nuts. So they can deep dive into other teams if pressed. BeefLoaf heads up this cast of misfits and can run stats like a boiler room operation. Chorizy takes the stats to another level and gives us in-depth analysis like the HAL-9000 computer from 2001 A Space Odyssey. Sure nobody survives in that movie but they all came away dead and wiser. Rounding out the cast is MSS who spins the latest hot takes into hero takes and mistakes. If you need to know about the fun stuff of sports collectibles and well worn thrift shop soccer shorts he’s wearing, MSS is your California Man to coin a Cheap Trick phrase. Good Pod in a world of a lot of Pods.

As a transplant from Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland who now lives in Indianapolis, I truly miss the genuine, ball busting, informative convos with my buddies over our sports teams. This pod always takes me back home and all of these guys are great people in real life, too.

There's a subset of intense, overbearing and condescending Sox podcasters who feel the need to constantly screech about how awful (insert player, coach or management decision here) is. These are not those guys. Passionate White Sox fans, they're knowledgeable, opinionated but most of all, genuinely funny. Their self-deprecating humor takes the edge off any criticism. You'll learn stuff about the Sox while laughing with a bunch of guys who at the end of the day know that baseball is meant to be fun.

If supporting the toxic bullies who make fun of a kid for going to community college and then take shots at his cancer-stricken mother rather than defend him when he’s their literal intern, this may be the pod for you! Not so much for me, though.

Not defending your Intern against people who talk about him and his mom who has cancer is really soft. Being fake is such a cop out.

This podcast is guaranteed to increase blood flow to the penis if listened to an hour before sexual activity. 100% cheaper than those little blue pills. Be a superstar in the bedroom! No expensive doctor's visits. No waiting in line followed by awkward eye contact with your pharmacist. And because the average play time for an episode lasts as long as you pretend to, the #108ers discussions on baseball, beer and bs will leave you and her satisfied all night or day long.

Honestly, it’s kinda surprising how these three handsome dudes—who have got by solely on their good looks—are so brilliant on a platform where you don’t even get to see their faces or well-defined physiques. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to swear in these reviews, so I won’t...but it’s a wonderfully insightful and funny podcast. Like stop reading this and just listen to it. It oozes with such passion, candor, and creativity that makes me proud of this terrible team I so dearly love.

Hiding behind fake names, Chorizy-E, Beefloaf, and MeatSox swoon over their love of weird meats. Imagine, cracking open a cold one while listening to your drunk uncles ramble on about complete non-sense at the family party. You’re sitting there, enjoying the show, getting some laughs, and feeling shocked that you actually learned something from their drunken jabbering. Do they get you excited for White Sox baseball? Yes. Do they make you have second thoughts about your diet and motivate you to buy two McRib meals and consume them in one sitting? Absolutely.

Approximates the feeling you got when your starter jacket was stolen out of your locker.

Listening to each episode is like seeing 2001 on the big screen for the first time while eating a stuffed Lou Malnati’s pizza and getting a hummer.

To quote The New York Times, “A Monument Is a Complicated Thing. This one is big and solid - And also surprisingly, surpassingly delicate.” I had been anticipating The this Podcast since I first heard of it back about a year ago. Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro back together again. And with Al Pacino and Joe Pesci to boot. The idea of these four amazing talents coming together for a film screamed genius, and I am happy to say, From The 108 is a masterpiece.

They are analytical and informative, but don’t take themselves too seriously, which is a nice change of pace. They also interact wonderfully with fans on Twitter. The podcast is NSFW, which is probably my favorite part. It’s like chatting White Sox baseball with your buddies, except these guys actually know what they’re talking about. If White Sox info were a beer, Section 108 is the head... The best head.
