    A wonderful podcast
The guests and interviews on this show are consistently top notch. The podcast brings a Catholic perspective to current events and to cultural commentary, but never devolves into being preachy or simplistic. If you love the print magazine, as I do, the podcast is a perfect complement … and if you like the podcast, but haven’t read the magazine yet, I encourage you to check out their century of excellent Catholic journalism and commentary.

    Fully Catholic, informed, and hopeful
Excellent episodes, poignant and timely, I’ve discovered great authors, thoughtful discussions, and fascinating topics newly discovered. Each podcast is Christ-centered and in a way all-embracing and welcoming. It’s sad that I need to add that this is Catholicism which does not exclude anyone. Please rate! Boost this positive, wholesome podcast; there’s plenty of smut out there getting rave reviews!

    Commonweal Consistently Strong Interviews
The Commonweal interviews cover multiple aspects of Catholic faith & traditions. The interviewers engage a variety of thinkers & practitioners. They ask probing, but not leading questions. I’ve learned a great deal from them. Thank you.

    Always interesting.
I think it’s doing something different from what a lot of other Catholic publications are doing today. Less “churchy,” less tied to the drumbeat of news coverage, more thoughtful and introspective. It gives me the sense that being “catholic” is less a matter of ideology, praxis, or doctrine than it is a way of staying attuned to the deepest core of reality.

    Excellent and impartial
I’m grateful for this podcast’s existence. I’m a Catholic without much opportunity for discussions on what that really means. Even when I go to church, actually. I think this podcast is great whether you’re a social justice or conservative Catholic. But it’s probably more enjoyable if you lean towards the social justice side.

    Exciting new podcast
The Commonweal podcast has an interesting mix of guests, and I love their coverage at the confluence of faith, spirituality, and art. Especially interesting segment about cultural appropriation - really cool to see progressive Catholic publications approaching these issues.
