    Hard Days Night
First- your voice is so easy to listen to. Secondly, you have great taste in music. I love how you break down the songs, discuss the isolated tracks, and give a little history lesson too. One of my favorite things to do when I for a walk, and try to relax and listen to a good music podcast. You are my current favorite. Can’t wait to wade through the library. I hope there’s a Gram Parsons song in there. I found you on my deep dive into the Replacements and Big Star. Thank you!!!

One of my must-listen music podcasts
A real labor-of-love podcast from Brad Page - great songs, great analysis, nice tight show format and length - what’s not to love? This show is one of my must-listens. I enjoy the episodes featuring songs that I know and/or love, and I have also discovered a number of new songs, which have expanded my musical scope. Thank you Brad, and keep up the great work!

    Great song selection
Just the right length and some true lesser known gems here. Also the way the songs are dissected provides a deep dive into the elements that make these songs memorable.

    Not a minute wasted
While it seems like almost everyone has a podcast these days, it is refreshing when a great one comes along. Brad Page's "I'm In Love WIth That Song" is indeed a great podcast. His deep dives into each song that he chooses are both insightful and concise. He has extremely ecletic tastes which is great because not only can you be exposed to songs you may not normally listen to, but he points out reasons these songs are worthy of your attention. He sometimes has guests (Usually authors) on those segments when he goes more in depth and those are good listens as well. Nothing gets too heavy. The point is to highlight the ingredients in each song that make it special. He does that with love and joy and it imakes for infectious listening. Highly recommended.

I’m in love… with this podcast
Very entertaining and mostly songs/artists I like. I look forward to this podcast every release. I agree on many of the songs but I also enjoy learning about artists I haven’t heard.

In depth and thoughtful dive into great songs
If you love classic songs from the rock era, this is for you. Brad Page selects one song and devotes a whole episode to it. He gives historical context and guides you through each part of the song. He will stop and isolate parts to add emphasis. Yet he is not overly technical; he seeks to highlight what makes these songs great. The love he has for these songs comes through so well. I have known pretty all of the songs already but the podcast gives me new appreciation of songs I had taken for granted.

Brad is a trememdous host. What an incredible story teller. Thanks

    Remarkable podcast
Literally covers the soundtrack of my youth. Kiss, Aerosmith, Deep Purple and other biggies are well represented. In addition, it's a delight to hear Brad feature more obscure bands like the woefully underrated Starz and Angel (City). Lastly, he's covered some of my all-time-fave songs that aren't in the hard rock vein - "Overnight Sensation", "I Can't Get Next To You", "War", and "Autumn Almanac." And frickin' bonus points for choosing "Thunderbox !"

    Perfect presentation
Brad has a passion combined with encyclopedic knowledge coupled with a wonderful soothing voice that literally invites you in. We’ll done.

    Fantastic
I just found this podcast and have been binging all day. I love how he can take a song I’ve heard a million times and make it new again. I hope he does Crazy on You by Heart, which in my opinion, is the most perfect song ever made!

    Good Stuff!
A lot of this music is way out of my space, but the episodes about songs I know, or know of, are outstanding! The Yes episode was over-the-top!! Keep up the great work!

    Great show!
I met you at Rock n Pod expo, checked out you show and love it! First episode I listened to was the KISS “King of the night time world”. Love how you break down the songs and the side by side comparisons. Keep it up!

I’m in love with this podcast
One of my top 2 podcasts that I listen to religiously. The host has a perfect pace and vocal level that makes the show fun, informative and comforting. Brad highlight songs that I still am amazed that they somehow eluded me but I’m so thankful that they have been placed in a refreshing light. I have added almost every song showcased on these shows to a playlist and have gone deeper into the artists catalog. I love discovering new fantastic music and with Brads help On this show I’m discovering a ton of great stuff. Keep up the great work on this thoroughly enjoyable adventure into great songs.

Rock Music Appreciation - designed for everyone
This podcast is for music enthusiasts who appreciate rock and roll but don’t necessarily have any training in music theory -and maybe never got closer to creating rock music than listen to a high school garage band play ‘Johnny Be Good.’ Host Brad Page breaks down songs that work by explaining how certain types of melodies, harmonies, riffs, and beats, put together just so create great music. Since I’ve started listening to this podcast, I’ve found new favorite songs to download & I now appreciate aspects of familiar favorites in new ways. I’m guessing even a trained musicologist would get something out of this - totally recommend for all.

    Something Happens
Just listened to the Something Happens podcast. Never heard of the song before but your podcast brought it to life for me. Great catchy song. Again, I love your breakdowns and I can sense your delight. One of my favorite music podcasts out there. Thanks!

    Great Bite Sized Podcast.
Each show is about 20-30 minutes, great to listen on short drives, in the morning or whatever. Tears apart each song, often with separated tracks which is very cool to hear. Each episode I hear new things about songs I’ve heard plenty of times before. I find myself listening more critically to other music as well. Entertaining and informative, a great listen.

    A more personal Song Exploder!
Love Brad's take on all these songs. He does a great job of highlighing and breaking down the episode's chosen song in a personal way. Always a few good nuggets of vital information on why the song works or how the individual parts led to success in the studio and charts. It's also very personal. It is about his take ways and not exactly what the original artist might say, but Brad is knowledgable enough to have an expert opinion without showing off. One of my fav podcasts on Pantheon!

    Love this podcast!
I just discovered this podcast but have already listened to a couple dozen episodes. Every episode is interesting, but I absolutely love the episodes where the host “un-mixes” the instrument tracks so we can hear each instrument independently in a song. As a newbie guitar player, I am fascinated with how he separates the different instrument tracks and dissect each song. I am learning a ton, and I appreciate that each episode is relatively short and easy-to-digest. Truly a podcast for fans of music as both an art and a craft.

    Something New in Something Old
I found this podcast accidentally and now I can’t stop listening. Old songs I’ve heard a thousand times but now I’m hearing them with a new ear. Then there are songs I’m vaguely familiar with sounding like old friends.

    Hearing new things
It’s been a long time since I’ve heard new sounds in familiar songs. I love this podcast. I’ve listened to many episodes. It’s super impressive.

    A new favorite!
Lovers of songs will love this podcast! Aren't we all lovers of songs? If you want to hear your favorite all the way through, you'll get that at the end. However, don't miss the "before"! Brad Page has a passion for each song that he dissects. I have learned to listen to music in a better way. As someone who loves to learn and discover new things, this podcast delivers ! Thanks, Brad, for giving me lots of material to binge while I'm stuck at home - and beyond!

    MUSIC LOVERS GET THIS NOW
This is one of my favorite podcasts. Brad loves music and his passion is obvious in every episode. This isn’t some dry, technical examination of a piece of music, but a joyous celebration of a song he loves. Even if it’s something you’ve never heard before, by the end you either can appreciate the music, or you’re heading over to your favorite music seller to grab a copy of your very own. Check out the “Gimme Shelter” and BB King episodes for an idea of what I’m talking about.

    Fantastic podcast
Really love the breakdown of each song especially for a musical novice like myself. So interesting to see the songs are built. Great podcast, definitely recommend it!

Every episode is a gem for the music fan
I love this podcast. The host does his research and I really enjoy how he breaks up the tracks into pieces. Words are carefully chosen and he really dives deep into an individual song. The Gimme Shelter episode is particularly great.

    Brad has fantastic taste
He turned me on to “new mistake” by Jellyfish years ago. They way he described the song before I heard it was spot on. Hook after Hook.

❤️ that he doesn’t bog us down in technical jargon
Nice niche you’ve got going here Brad! Really enjoyed your Cheap Trick & Petty shows & looking forward to more. I like how you keep em to 12-15 minutes and throw in just enough little nuggets to make it super interesting and not overwhelm us.
  • Pimpenhoe
    Great concept and entertaining show!
The idea behind the show is excellent- Brad’s favorite songs, broken down to the smallest nuances in the recording. You don’t have to be a professional musician, or even know a lot of theory to enjoy this show. Just sit back, and listen as Brad digs deep into some great music. 5 Stars!

    Great show for music lovers
I’ve been binge-listening this afternoon. Short, to the point, and interesting. You can tell Brad really loves music and he explains the songs in a slightly technical but accessible way that helps you listen closer.

    Great show
I love listening to this quick, informative, podcast. We share a lot of the same taste, but I’m also being turned on to music I was unaware of. I would highly recommend listening.
