msmommypantsLove these except…Thank you, these are great. Perfect length for a walk, lunch break or drive to work. But what is that loud horrible banging noise in some recordings!?! I’ve had to turn some off for headache.
-
spendsirgordonWonderful!I’m in the middle of nowhere OK. This has been such a godsend for me. Thanks!
-
Linda GGRThank youThank you for your service everyone involved in these recordings. There are so comforting between meetings. Also a great resource for hope, recovery, and love.

Evangelyn MWSo grateful for this podcastI noticed that podcast episodes are coming out again. As a codependent and ACA, that lives in a rural area of the US with no in-person meetings, I’m beyond grateful for this podcast. It’s so powerful to hear the experiences of others who have similar childhood experiences, who are doing the painful work to heal and work on the parts of life that we each have control over. Thank you all so much for your willingness to share.
-
KM98654Thank you!Thank you for creating this podcast and to the speakers. These episodes are my “meeting” in between meetings and help me a lot.
-
BoboTT2022Wonderful resourceI am grateful to have found this. Im a eternally grateful there was a lapel mic purchased.
-
WendyjeanneGrateful for this PodcastThanks to all who do service and make this possible. A great tool that has truly touched my heart and opened me up to be honest with myself about the effects of growing up in a dysfunctional alcoholic home and finally start the process of healing.
-
Millie M's15 minutes to start the dayThanks to all the people who do service to keep this going. It’s a 15 minute share that stays on track because all shares are grounded in specific parts of the Big Red Book. I appreciate getting to know more parts of the book.
-
T-sineBest 15 MinutesI am so grateful to all involved in this pod. Great recovery here.
-
jodylynnnickMy meetings between meetings!Thank you for sharing your stories and the tools. I receive something helpful every time I tune in.
-
Mary AlouetteHighly recommendPowerful podcast. It’s perfect for when I want to do work around ACA issues but am winding down my day in bed and don’t feel up for a meeting. Impactful shares. And, as a musician, I love the choice of piano music framing each episode.
-
Tom StegerGreat content, but poor productionWould love it if these recordings were done more professionally. Content is great.
-
Cvs23dsfaaRecording qualityEnjoying this podcast as I become familiar with ACA. Is there a way the device that is being used to record could be moved closer to the speaker, and further away from the person recording? The laughs, rustling of papers, and clicking on a keyboard and mouse can really distract the listener away from engaging with the speaker.
-
CaitMW89Fantastic!So grateful I found this podcast! This was my first exposure to ACA and how I began to open up about my history of trauma. Thank you to all ACAs who have been brave enough to share so publicly & Anne for organizing! Keep up the amazing work.
-
#27 Goals...Great for those in recoveryI’ve just started to listen and hope that the typing won’t be in the audio for the future casts. :(
-
P. BelleAmazing!I get so so much out of the speakers and enjoy the format. I have mentioned this podcasts to fellow travelers. Thank you for your service.
-
bobaroonMute the hostThe speakers are fantastic! I love listening to the honesty and wisdom that is offered. Thank you so much for recording these and putting them out in the world. Please mute the host after the meeting starts. Can hear the mouse clicks and keyboard typing throughout the entire meeting. It’s such a simple fix. Please address this. This suggestion of the mouse clicks and keyboard typing is listed throughout all of the reviews.

CeraWJust what I neededThis podcast makes ACA so approachable and easy to share with others who may benefit from it. There must be a tech savvy adult child who could volunteer to improve the sound quality though! I often only have time to listen at night as I’m falling asleep, but the intro music volume, typing and laughing wake me up. I’d rather have this podcast imperfect than not at all, but some minor changes could make all the difference. Thanks Anne all of you speakers and timers for your service!
-
SoxySGreat resource!I love, love, love having this ACA resource. The short 15 minute shares are the perfect length and focused on the solution. Only negative is the recordings often include typing and mouse clicking that can become really distracting.
-
aca_christyGreat but occasionally frustratingIt’s so helpful to be able to play one of these on a day I can’t go to a meeting or do some other recovery activity. However, sometimes it sounds as though the person recording the speaker is typing or clicking throughout the person’s share, which is a challenge.

subject010xCould be 5* but ruined by mouse and keyboard noises during the speaker!!Could be 5* but ruined by mouse and keyboard noises during the speaker!!

Patty KimAnnoying background noiseLove this podcast. The talks are some of the best I’ve ever heard. The sound could be so much better. There is often weird typing and clicking noises that make the episodes difficult to enjoy fully.
-
JaeDTHungry for MoreI’ve listened to all your ✨speakers, saved over half of the talks & semi-anxiously waiting for more! Pretty amazing talks and I’ve enriched my recovery process immensely listening to each one💞
-
AgilitymomThe Stories are realThe people are real and I could completely feel their pain. It’s emotional but comforting at the same time. My only complaint is the back ground noise: pen clicking and the keyboard typing is disruptive and distracting. It takes away from the speaker.
-
fnejsownwoxThis is pretty greatThanks a bunch all the way from California.
-
Peggy G FLDavid Tuesday Toolbox ACASo far I have only listened to this one share, but very helpful. Read from BRB and shared. 15 minutes, nice boost to add to going to meetings and study. Not a substitute, good addition.
-
SmileyngNot aloneI’m new to ACA and these shares have been a huge help for me. It’s such a relief to know we are not alone. And the length is perfect for a drive to work.
-
invitingserenityGreat supplement to my recoveryThis speaker format meeting has been a great supplement to my ACA recovery. I typically go to a BRB meeting one time per week ,but it is really helpful to listen to the speakers at this meeting at all years in their recovery sharing their experiences using the tools of recovery. Thank you for putting this out there ! I love what you are doing. Thank you for your service . 💜
-
janguarThank you for your service!I’m new to ACA but this podcast has already brought me solace and helped me understand myself better. Thank you!
-

Bikey FandanglesBeautiful ResourceBeyond grateful to the fellows who decided to record this. I have been in the program for 2 years and this podcast provides other stories and voices that enrich my recovery. Thank you Tuesday Toolbox. May we find the love and serenity we all need and deserve. The loud clanging is a heater, I suspect, and teaches us tolerance and focus 😂 I can hear the message just fine. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

allcatsaregreyyouknowgrateful.I'd been thinking about going to ACOA meetings for a long time when a friend recommended this podcast, and it was (and is still) just what I needed. It helps demystify the program for those of us who are scared or don't know where to start, and it also offers ongoing support. thank you so much for this.
-
ccsdpsToo much background noise (loud clicking)The speakers are very good but I don’t know what all the background clicking is about. I find this clicking terribly distracting and irritating. I wish someone would solve this problem.
-
Dr nutReassuringLook forward to this podcast every week. Had listened to Anne’s share from August 2 a while back. Usually after I listen the podcast ‘disappears’ (as having been played) but this one came back. So I listened again & heard some things I needed to hear. To me that’s proof that this is a good program tool. HP is working here. Keep up the great work!
-
asucker123Helpful but impossible to hearIn almost every single episode there is LOUD clanging completely drowning out the speakers voice. It is impossible to hear what they are saying 😫 I am so so interested in this & appreciative of the idea but it’s almost more frustrating to try to listen to help & not receive anything over the noise ☹️
-
DevondearingWhat a Tremendous Service!Thank you to all who make this possible and for those walking this healing path a bit ahead of us, showing us there is a way out. So essential in these times to be reminded I’m not alone!
-
Laura Hu.Thank youThese shares are really healing and helpful. I know I’m not alone!
-
niceguy.comThank you!HEY TT! I recently started attending ACA and this podcast helped me to feel more comfortable and able to share at meetings. Thank you all for sharing your meeting and experience with us all!
-
1980's AthleteGoldmine!I find myself sharing these all the time, and have referred my grown kids to this as well. 50+ and only now understanding some things. Very thankful!
-
sheriberry66Grateful for this podcastAs I am working the steps, these podcasts are so helpful! Thank you!
-
Carrie pendaExcellentI listen over and over I just wish there were more - if you are zooming and you record the zoom it automatically saves a MP3 or audio file - you could delete the video file. Also there are cheap mikes that could be helpful so the background like the heater or laughter is not so load. But just don’t stop:) Wish we could have more from all over. Thank you!!!
-
Amberrrrr82So Helpful! As a newcomer to ACA, this podcast is extremely helpful to get a feel of the program and the language used. Please keep them coming!!
-
BLD2020Thank you for helping me find “my people”I am very grateful for this podcast. I originally discovered this podcast, before discovering ACA. I had attended Al-Anon meetings and had not felt the connection I was seeking. Listening to these episodes I immediately related to every speaker and really felt I was listening to “my people”. I found a local ACA meeting and again was overwhelmed by the connection I felt with the fellows. I am not a regular meeting attendee, although that is something Im working to change. Whenever I feel myself drifting from my program, I find this podcast reminds me why I need this group in my life. Thank you for sharing your stories!
-
Coastal RecoveryThank you! Please pass along my appreciation to everyone who shares their stories and tools. I’ve learned so much and feel so grateful to not feel alone anymore.
-
Greatful_ESThank youI’m so grateful for everyone who have shared their stories! I felt myself like “at home”. Very helpful!

Pinkpg17These are so great! Can you please share more online meetings resources in Brooklyn?
-
HMBMcHughWonderful podcast!I love the short shares! I have parts of my story that I have NEVER heard in other programs. Relatively new to ACA and very excited and hopeful for working the steps and the program!
-
monterey,caTip for fellow travelersTo those who can’t get to meetings... If you go to the ACA website they have virtual online meetings and phone conference meetings from all over the world for free. I just went to my first meeting 2 weeks ago. Peace fellow travelers...
-
hindyartPlease record more! These are amazing! Can more speakers record their qualification? Please pass along the request it’s really helpful in cities that don’t have access to such great recovery! TIA
