Big yikes at allowing the words “Hamas is like the Palestinian Taliban” in this ep. I’ve been disappointed in the past by the western bias of your discussions on this topic, but I think this might be the last straw for me. Perhaps y’all could try interviewing actual Palestinians connected to the resistance? Because repeatedly pointing out that Hamas is “right wing” without acknowledging that they work hand in hand with literal Marxists (PFLP) who study and teach leftist theory while physically defending their homeland is pretty irresponsible and minimizes the contributions of leftists within Palestinian resistance efforts.

You got two straight man comedians that think they know everything and it is just boring now, not to mention the quasi anarchist takes. This show was better than quorators and still can be again. Either get Ptak back or another silly type guy. No, neither one of you are silly

I really enjoyed the latest episode about the "Cargo Cult" podcast - when I could hear it, that is. I don't know what's been happening to the guys, but lately the podcast volume has been HORRIBLE. I work in a noisy factory with -27 dB plug phones in my ears all day. Podcasts are my only relief and my only conversation. I tried turning up the volume on this episode, but I could still only barely hear it. I thought it might be unusually noisy today, but I tried again when I was walking to my car, and it was still pretty bad. I ended up listening to most of it on the way home, in a quiet car, with the windows up and the AC fan on low. About the only way I could hear it. If you're looking for new listeners guys, this is not the way to do it.

I’m a Patreon supporter but I’d be embarrassed for a friend to listen to the intro of this Ep. I get that Ander’s Spectrum generated cringe bits are part of the odd appeal of the show. An extended stream of moronic nonsense can make the joke into a sad joke. The invention of theatre as snuff porn? Just the idea of an invention of theatre is ridiculous. And reading song lyrics is cringy enough but drawing historical connections to 70s culture and current Palestine politics... Eshh. The entire crew sort of validating this nonsense hurts the credibility of later discussions. The podcast for the Stupid Children needs a firmer limit for stupidity.

i learned about NYC DSA’s public power project through this show. the only thing that would constitute the group of people i live near as a community is our shared hatred for our local power company, who are a force of genuine evil and human suffering in the world. thanks to PDA, i will absolutely be calling my reps and phone banking on behalf of the proposed bills. it’s a good podcast

A sentient set of stage directions, a recently cryogenically unfrozen soda jerk from 1953, and a man forever stuck 10% into a werewolf transformation tell good jokes. Can’t recommend enough.

It’s a comedy show, they are not political geniuses but are for the most part well informed. I met Jake once and played the role of punisher outside of a bar in nyc. He plays along. Nice guy. good podcast. I highly reccomend listening

Check out their series on John Brown, it’s some of the best podcasting I’ve ever heard. Their latest episode on why you should read Capital actually inspired me to, well, at least ask a couple of my friends if they want to read Kapital with me. We’ll see if I actually do it.

These guys have become the podcast I most look forward to. When I open that app to see what’s new and this one pops up, it’s always my first stop. It’s a political show, but feels less about how politics relate to you, and more about how you relate to politics. Maybe. I’m one of the stupid children this show is made for, but for a funny show, it does leave you with plenty to think about. Their patreon content is always 🔥too.

I love this show as it has the perfect combination of informative digression of the news from a lefty perspective along with hilarious jokes from three lefty comedians.

But Jake and his crew think they are comedians and it’s just non stop cringe.
