margiela5Straight GasMust listen for PT students out there. Great resource and community!

doctornoonsAlways felt like one of the sixI started listening to this podcast just before I got into PT school in winter 2018. Sooo many gems. My drive to PT school every week was just over 90 minutes. I’ve listened to just about every episode. It is fantastic!

jonathanksmithReally enjoying this podcastI am a PTA who has returned to PT school. I stumbled upon this podcast and have really enjoyed the idea of evidence based treatment. I credit much of my listening to this to keep myself from getting in a “rut” while confusing to treat patient while I return to school. It has also strengthened my knowledge of coursework as I have gone through each semester. Great work guys!

DSpicyI love it, great resource for clinicians students and the average potato(me)To keep it short. They’re funny, straight to the point and have various professionals in the field of strength rehab and therapy come in talk and debunk myths with a research based outlook. #Proud6listener :D

Britt RooneyGreat podcastLove the content. Have listened to every episode and feel you guys put out great info that. Can be translated directly to practice. Wish more clinicians practiced this way. Couldn’t help but notice you haven’t had any female guests on as of yet, would love to hear from some of the women clinicians in the clinical athlete realm. Thanks!

Emigdio930A different level of podcastClinical athlete is not what I would consider your average podcast when it comes to S&C or rehab. It is much more in depth and scientific in it’s discussion of studies and recommendations most of the time. If it is a little hard to follow to the average lifter consider it as a place to learn from even more so. Looking forward to the future of the podcast.

ktlou133More time in the trenches is needed for these young menAre these guys bright and entertaining? Yes. Are they young? Yes. It'd be great to see them add someone with 20 years or more of clinical hands-on experience to their podcast. The lack of published scientfiic research on a modality doesn't preclude its efficacy. I think they are using scepticism to shroud a lack of experience.

ScottawaattaVery disappointed in their lack of professionalismListened to a few of these episodes and I started out a little impressed by the high level of skepticism they have with research and fad treatments out there. After listening to episode 6 I am very much unimpressed with how they treated the guest who in my view was doing his best to be respectful to the hosts, while still representing what he does and trying to make an argument for his method of treating patients. Quinn was the most respectful out of the three hosts while Michael and Derrick didn’t listen to the guest, cut him off numerous times and in general were very close minded to what he was trying to explain. The fact that they are so hung up on “Pain science” really makes me question the foundation of their practice methods and I am likely not going to take much of what they say seriously again. Had they respectfully agreed to disagree with the guest, and were more reasonable with him I’d not have such a bad taste in my mouth. Quinn tried to bring things back to a respectful tone at the end of the podcast, but it was really too little too late. Michael and Derrick came off as arrogant jerks, which is really unfortunate. The peripheral nervous system is a system that is totally neglected and looked over in the medical field, which Dr. Brady is at least attempting to address. I don’t necessarily agree with all of what he says, but at least he seems authentic and trying to practice in the best way he knows how. Just wish he’d do some research with what he does so he has a more solid argument when trying to substantiate what he’s saying.

Cody MisuracaEvidence Based and InformativeThis podcast primarily focuses on challenging various popular and/or fallacious narratives in the field of physical rehab. For the skeptical clinician interested in understanding the evidence for and against such narratives, this podcast is a must.

UyptFanfriggintasticThese guys are the real deal, and a pleasure to listen to. As a physical therapy student I really appreciate the way everything is grounded in the evidence. Please keep these coming!!!

mbettsptWeakly motivation to do my job better! This podcast sheds an awesome light on the current literature regarding relevant topics for clinicians working with an athletic population. I believe this population often falls between the cracks of medical care because no one knows what to do for them. Exercise dosage and athlete education are crucial for these people and this podcast talks specifically to these points. Love where your minds are at...keep up the good work!

JubulitasticI was worriedI thought they were giving up after two episodes. Looking forward to consistent content. Love it so far

kechu52088Great stuffAwesome as always !!

Maddie_BrinaMust listenI'm a PT who hates dealing with literature, but knows how important it is. It literally can't get any easier than listening to other people break down an article while you drive. Even if you don't treat athletes, the discussion of literature is important for everyone to be part of, the methods of analysis are the same across the clinical spectrum. Plus you never know which of your friends or family members are going to ask you about foam rolling or voodoo bands!
-
Jsw208Interesting, informative, and surprisingly necessary.Fantastic content so far, guys! It would be great to have the resources posted or listed in a public space so listeners can follow along when you reference certain pages or paragraphs. Otherwise, no complaints and I'm all ears!
-
Sam AntonacciRefreshing FormatThis podcast is absolutely essential for any practicing clinicians to listen to. I really hope you continue the format of analyzing current articles and discussing research on the topic in general. It is great to hear actual literature broken down and appraised as opposed to just hearing people's opinions. Hopefully one day the infamous manual therapy thread will have its own episode!! Keep it up guys!!!

AntiStaymatesExcellent. A must listen for rehab professionalsThis is an excellent and brutally honest exercise in how the analysis and discussion of evidence should be done. The hosts are passionate and knowledgeable, except for Derek Miles (whom the internet acknowledges as a trash person.) This is a must listen for rehab professionals.

NickeldimeTheAboveClockThese Cats!I could lay in a bath tub with a glass of wine and listen to these cats talk about physical systems all day!

Kero0602Yes!This podcast is a "must listen" for those who work with an athletic population... and probably even those who don't. These guys do the hard work of compiling clinically relevant literature and presenting it in a way that is clear and easily applicable. Thank you Quinn, Derek, and Michael for brining this to life! What a great podcast! ClinicalAthlete has been (and continues to be) a game changer for my clinical thought process and treatments.

ConadoLooking forward to more content! This podcast is exactly what all rehab professionals should be listening to in order to logically root out all the BS being peddled to patients.
