Great conversations but a lot of ads

Feels like I’m in the convo. 👍

Travis Rodgers is not someone whose opinion I value anymore. I love his honest/non homer perspective but it’s almost too contrarian where I don’t think he’s accurately evaluating the team. I turned off the last episode cuz I was like you really aren’t giving a team about to get healthy quickly with a short window to contend a fair shake. I think he’s articulate, intelligent, and fair to his analysis; I just think his last two episodes have been bad takes. I stopped listening to the last episode cuz LA traffic is horrid enough without having to be debating with someone who doesn’t know my existence. Also, can they turn off their notifications on their phones. Still will listen still a great podcast for recent information though.

TR is a font of repetitive statements and opinion but short on information…if you seek useful news he is not your man…his partner is helpful with facts and analysis

I wish they would not send the Locked on Sports podcast. It’s annoying to have to deal with it.

Great duo that both complement & feed off each other. Excellent comprehensive coverage, opinions, facts, & analysis. D-Mac pumps it up & Travis expands it while also giving you both a grounded & realistic breakdown. Love every show - cannot get enough. LFG Rams!!!

This show sounds like a couple of kids playing radio in their mom’s basement using Pringles cans as microphones. Actually it would probably be better that way.

I enjoy the podcast, and listen everyday for all the latest on the Rams. A few issues here and there, but no big deal. The minus one star is for trying to force me to listen to another podcast by labeling it a bonus episode. I’m here for the Rams, if I wanted NFL podcasts, I’d go listen to NFL podcasts. Just sayin’

Whomever combined Travis with Doug…compliments. The show is so much better. The two together are both insightful and funny. An enjoyable 20 minutes or so of content. Sosa was a workhorse, but kind of a plodder. Last year Travis seemed kind of lazy. Pairing with DeMarco not so good. But he’s perfect with Doug. Doug seems to do the pre-work, has some real zingers and Travis is much better in this elder statesman “people’s choice” role. Looking forward to a great season.

Glad to see the addition of Demarco Farr. He is great.

The info is great, it’s straight and to the point. The ads are nauseating though

Is it just me or has it seemed like he’s slowly moving to only doing a couple pods a week?

Just the facts

I listen to this but it drives me crazy how much time is spent in ads on this podcast. At least 40% of the podcast, I’m not exaggerating, is ads. Each 3-4 minute segment starts with at least 2-3 full minutes of advertisement. Ads for the show, ads for himself, constantly plugging and advertising and shilling and promoting at literally every opportunity, it’s sickening… for a few minutes of rams news. Also repeats himself a lot. I’ll probably cancel for this reason.

I have listened to this show through Bear Modder, Sosa, and now Travis…. Dude, FIX YOUR MICROPHONE! You work for ESPN, does no one even hit ‘Play’ on these episodes since you started last week? There is constant, uninterrupted popping and feedback in your microphone every time you speak. I use Spotify, I’ve never even used Apple Podcasts in my life, but I feel so compelled to reach out to you to say DUDE BUY A NEW MICROPHONE THIS IS YOUR JOB. The show is genuinely unlistenable…. I have no idea if you’re a talented host, because I can’t get through more than 45 seconds of the crackling. This sound occurs on Apple, Spotify and on the web. In your hybrid episode with the Bucs host, he sounds great. You sound like you’re talking through a funnel with a bouncing exhaust flap. Get on Amazon and buy a freaking Mic dude.

When will a new host be selected and podcasts continue/ Very disappointing having this hiatus during the most important part of season. Definitely finding other Rams podcasts.

Love listening to this podcast but I can’t stand it sometimes. The expectations every game are way to high just because this team has been good for a few years now. I love this team but they will not score 30 a game every game. They win a game and still get criticized because they didn’t score enough points?? Don’t understand. Not every win will be a blowout. This game against Detroit did it for me. My honest prediction for this game was 27-20. An emotional game on both sides. Same thing happened when Brady and the Bucs traveled to NE. Sometimes emotions get in the way as expected

I never miss his podcast when it drops. If you are a Rams fan it’s a must. Well done

With the Rams and 49ers being in the same division it’s going to be interesting the way they use their picks that are literally back to back 101. Rams 102. 49ers 103. 49ers and 104. Rams . What do you have to say about this?

Would love to hear you at least 2 times a week during off season

Very informative podcast with valuable information. However Sosa’s delivery of that information is not great. Transitions are sharp or non-existent, repeats phrases constantly (I.e. with that being said), points out the obvious. I understand this is his first year doing the podcast which can be tough. I believe if Sosa teamed up with Bear (the old host) or someone else who is a Rams fan it would be easier on him and the flow would be easier. For example, the Locked On Arizona Cardinals podcast team does a tremendous job and creates dialogue and offers different point of views rather than that of one person.

Sosa is awesome. And so plugged in!

Sosa talks about the sports the way we talk about sports with the homies, except with much smarter analysis and better numbers. I always feel like I understand a rams game and then Sosa’s analysis allows me to see it in a much better light. Keep uo the good work!

Like Sean McVay, Sosa delivers the goods consistently.

Host does a great job making this feel like a friend having a convo rather than someone just talking at you. Highly recommend.

There’s no one that provides a more thoughtful commentary on the Rams than Sosa. He’s an incredibly valuable resource for all Rams fans wanting to share their love for the team & knowledge of the game. He simply does a great job & makes a positive different in my day — that’s what it’s all about.

The host uses the phrase “with that being said” anywhere from 6 to 10 times each 30 minute episode. He has good content but this audio crutch becomes nails on a chalkboard situation. I think the podcast would be improved if it was a two person team and it was more conversational. Both Sosa and Brad formatted the podcast as if they are really trying to be sports talk radio hosts where they spend 30 minutes preaching to the choir.

I ran into a fellow Rams fan while shopping in Sicklerville New Jersey today ( day after the Rams were here beating those Philly Eagles ) and Chris told me about this show. I’m ashamed I didn’t already have you guys downloaded. You guys do a great job talking all things Rams. Great info! Thanks Chris for the heads up. Long time fan but a new listener and I really appreciate the insight, camaraderie and content you guys put out as frequently as you do. Especially love the draft stuff and how things are shaping up for the team. Keep it up. You guys have an avid listener from here on out.

Look, I like listening to you guys. But the podcast is so rough. Transitions are sharp or non existent, segments are cut too short a lot with ads (no reason a 5 minute segment should be surrounded with 6 minutes of ads), and recently even the audio has been messed up with voices talking over each other. I wanna love the show, and I love the Rams. Just try to work on this stuff. I’ll be back. Go Rams!
