it is great to listen to these guys who have been there and done that in metal fabrication. I learned new things every day, even though I’m just a beginner and and I am inspired to learn more. Their casual conversation and expert information are blended and easy to understand and not intimidatingway

Im grateful for all the information shared. Im especially appreciative of Jody’s videos; they’ve made a huge difference- especially welding aluminum with inverter machine. A gentleman, and true master of his craft!

I have watched many of Jody’s videos on Youtube like a lot of others here and cant help but disagree with some of the reviews here. Some complain that the newer episodes are not as good as the previous ones, that the hosts are rambling on, etc etc. And honestly could not disagree more. Having gone backwards from the post quarantine to the pre- quarantine episodes, the amount of improvement they have accomplished is amazing. The audio quality is phenomenal, now that they can see each other, they are much more aware of each other’s reactions and it seems that there is a lot less interrupting of each other. The one thing that I love about the show is the transparency, the authenticity of the hosts. I had to reach out to Roy to even know why he got a Fronius machine. There’s no buy this or buy that, any recommendation is genuine and reasonable. These are very knowledgeable guys, that although in different stages of life and quite different positions as far as work life is concerned, are very effective in delivering knowledge and motivation every week. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the time you put in! I have learned more from this podcast than i could ever have hoped. The resources mentioned, the countless experiences had by the hosts and guests, totally priceless. Will be listening to the after-shows soon.

I found Jody on YouTube and definitely learned a lot. So once I found out about the podcast I knew it must be good as well. The guest are really informative and give great insight. If you can get past the guy who has to apologize for almost every opinion he brings up. Along with the other who’s afraid of his own shadow. Would be much better if Jody was the only host and interviewed the guests.

I’ve listened to this podcast since the beginning. There has been some great guests and topics. I’ve learned some great stuff here. Lately it seems like it’s the Jody podcast telling the same old stories and rambling on about nothing. Seems like some of the newest episodes they’re grasping for topics to talk about. Not sure how much longer I’ll be listening to it.

I downloaded this podcast so I could listen to it while at work, I’m wanting to learn how to weld so I decided to download and listen because I can’t watch videos while working. Im so glad I started listening yesterday because I heard someone say Dave Ramsey and I follow him very close so now this is definitely one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. The conversations are great and I can’t wait for future shows and be able to learn so much from you guys!!

Just like arc junkies, I look forward to Monday when a new episode drops. I have listened to almost every episode, I think I’m about 10 episodes short of everyone and everyone is worth listening to.

I want to learn more can you guys talk about how to calculate the welding joints base on the process, tig,stick.or Mig, I want to know how much pounds I going to used depending of the process. Muchas gracias.

Thanks for doing the podcast, I’ve been listening for a few months, driving to teach a sculpture class. I’ve learned a lot, which helps the students too. I’d love to hear an episode on metal finishing (paint, lacquer, powder coating, etc.) Keep up the good work!

This is the best welding podcast that is out and really my favorite podcast out something I look forward to listening to ever week. To sum up the podcast it’s three fantastic guys that are into the welding/ metal fabrication trade and share helpful inspirational/motivational information and ideas to help out anyone else in the trade or wanting to get into the trade and every other week they interview a quest on mostly. They are not in it for the money like most podcasts are it’s more about helping people out it’s a really good listen if you haven’t heard of it definitely worth listening too. But also if your not on the Instagram app also you can find them there same with this podcast. I only been up to date with all this social media welding stuff for less than a year mostly because I thought it was all drama like Facebook. It’s not if your interested in the trade also suggest checking out Instagram first and follow them and before you listen to an episode with a guest check them out on Instagram and you can get a better image on how cool some of this stuff really is and how much you been missing out on. I think listening to this podcast actually made me become a better person in the long run that’s how motivating it is it may sound corny but it’s true. I hope this is a good review it’s hard to explain everything at once but really a good podcast to listen to.👊🏻

Ive been listening to these guys recently and it has been amazing. The amount of knowlege that they have and the people they interview is unreal! And educational. I work in a small job shop and it's good to keep learning about what else folks are doing out there.

I started listening about a year ago before Fabtech. I love this group of guys. Interviews of the guys Ive gotten to know from IG is so cool. I have gotten a ton of helpful advice. So many decades of experience to hear about and learn from. Moser and Blackburn and Barbie so far have been my top favs. Keep em comin guys. I still dont know my limits but I hear it in my head everytime I fake it till I make it..much love LULU (Dugzweldingcaps)

Describing something as visual as welding is difficult, but Jody, Jonathan, and Roy do an outstanding job. I've been a hobby welder for 35 years and their descriptions have taught me things I had never learned before. In eveyr episode, I've gained several tips and a better understanding of the details needed to do quality welds. The three hosts have an easy give and take, each contributing their expertise and experience to the discussion. This reminds me of sitting around at the end of the work day with old hands sharing their experience with the young guys. Thanks for the great podcast!
