I used to be an avid fan of the Thrive by Design podcast, but my experience with its Momentum program left me frustrated and disappointed. The podcast hyped Momentum as a premium, high-value coaching program – the supposed game-changer for jewelry business owners. Trusting that enthusiastic promotion, I saved up and finally joined, excited to get the support and growth promised in every episode’s glowing endorsements. That excitement quickly turned into buyer’s remorse. Shortly after I signed up, the Momentum program was abruptly shut down with little warning. There was no real transition plan or meaningful support offered for those of us who had just joined. It felt like a bait-and-switch – the podcast sold me on a vision of long-term guidance, but when the program vanished, there was zero accountability from the host or team. The discrepancy between what was promised on Thrive by Design and what was delivered in the paid program was staggering. Let this review be a cautionary tale. Don’t be swayed by polished podcast promises without doing your due diligence. Before investing in any expensive program advertised on this show, research thoroughly and approach with skepticism. I learned the hard way that a charismatic pitch doesn’t always translate into the support or results you’re led to expect.

Very salesy, mostly to push and sell classes and book. I actually “qualified” (read:entered my email address) for a “one-hour website strategy via Zoom.” Totally misleading as all that zoom call was for was to answer questions about the different classes offered. Didn’t even discuss my work/website. No follow up at all either. Eh got turned off by all this

I came across Tracy’s podcast and binged listened for several weeks. I have recently signed up for her Laying The Foundation and course it is even better than I hoped! I feel so supported now on my jewelry business journey, excited to see the results.

I loved your latest guest episode with Sarah Hawley, "Conscious Leadership and the Future of Work " was really insightful! I thought you asked some great questions that really gave us a good look into Sarah's journey with Growmotely. The aha moments were the best and I loved the energy you brought to the episode since it was my first time tuning in! I loved hearing how Sarah is trailblazing the space and how she has been authentic and unapologetically herself with her business journey as she is revolutionizing the world of work. Bravo work, Tracy! I can’t wait to tune in for more episodes. This was my first time tuning in and I loved hearing how to scale and grow a brand that works for you in your specific industry.

Even though I’m not a jewelry designer, Tracy gives so much practical info on the podcast that can be applied to any business. Not only does the podcast include tangible strategies, it also helps with the mental shifts needed for anyone trying to run a successful business!

Update - 4/20/22: Definitely a MUST listen to for product businesses. I make handmade jewelry, and also purchase her book, and EVERYTHING she shares on this podcast, in her book and in her courses is the TRUTH! This is my first time listening to this podcast and there is SO much information packed into just one episode. Highly recommend just based on the website and other communications I’ve read. This podcast is an amazing guide to owning a product base business. Anytime I feel like I’ve hit a wall with my business I’ll put an episode on and immidiately be motivated again. I also love hearing from other jewelry designers, it makes me feel like I’m not alone and gives me ideas on what I can implement in my business. This show should definitly be a tool in your tool box for your business.

This is such a great resource for a product-based business owner! I get so much out of every episode I listen to. There is a lot of self promotion here and a lot of mindset talk. Not much practical tips to implement in your business.

Girlll!!! I was totally tagged into the ad for this latest podcast about copying and plagiarism on Instagram by a friend. I actively have been copied with IDENTICAL products by my husbands ex wife on 30+ products so far. I have filed for legal copy-write licensing (mind you, that’s $65 an application) on the pieces that qualify. Applied for patents, filed legal cease and desist and more. She DOES NOT stop. She now has gone as far as to copy my top seller and claims it’s “different” due to the fact she’s added fringe. People literally will see her jacket and instantly think it’s my product. She’s now copied my logo, renamed her company to the name of the piece of art that my logo is based on that I designed myself. I’ve blocked all her accounts on every platform. Whole 9 yards. This was such a great podcast to listen to, now to listen to more! 👏🏼🖤
