Absolutely love the podcasts! Been watching KYD for several years and are a part of the E3 community. Love the 52 min unscripted podcast just listening today not sure what took me so long to tune in but the discussion in this podcast resonated with me. Ironic I started listening to some different ones this week realizing I needed a change in my life. Definitely inspired by y’all (go ahead Mark I know you love to say that🤪😂) to get an RV and travel. We’ve been waiting (why I have no idea) but talked with my wife the other day how nice it would be just to do weekend getaways with an RV. We both are highly motivated and strong work ethic that we can work 24/7 and never run out of something to do. Thinking long and hard after listening to your wisdom that enough is enough time to start going on some weekend getaways to experience and enjoy more of each other and the world around us there’s just so much to see. So I just wanted to say thank you for being such an inspiration, for being real, nothing better than being raw unscripted to make an impact on someone. “Celebrate the accomplishments “ something we don’t do enough. I absolutely love the new style. Started with YouTube and then came over here. What I love the most through the podcast is that it makes me feel like we are sitting around having a conversation. Absolutely love it! I took notes to add to my vision board before you two mentioned it! Ha! Can’t wait till the next one but don’t stress about it and just come have a KYD chat!

If you are an aspiring digital nomad and traveler then this podcast is a must listen. Marc and Trish have been doing this for a long time and are the real deal! I highly recommend downloading an episode and putting it in your queue!

Great info. So happy to hear positive and encouraging info on tips of how to do life together in the RV. We are on month 6 and this was just what I needed to hear. I am excited to check out some of the book recommendations and put these idea into action.

I’ve listened to your last two podcasts and love how you are making life happen and not just waiting for it to happen to you. (Life will sometimes happen on its own accord when you least expect it or want it!) But living your life in such a way that creates opportunity for good things to come to you is both exciting and fulfilling. It’s those moments with friends or family that turn out to be so meaningful because you intentionally created the opportunity. Or those surprising gems of joy that pop up simply because you were open to it. I hope you continue these podcasts. Really food for thought. I am definitely at a crossroads in my life. I too long for adventures. I am excited to travel with my kids not full time, but I am ready to take the leap into the RV lifestyle so I can share more family time with my kids. We took some great camping trips in tents last summer in tents. So happy for all you are sharing- locations, dreams, family time etc.

All great thoughts and ideas!!! No need to scale it down. It’s easy enough to pick it back up on a ride home or during a workout. When good thoughts are flowing don’t cut it short.

Hi Ive been following KYD since yur first season and really enjoy the presentations, personality and info provided. My only suggestion is keep the time to 30 minutes-ish. I listen as Im out walking my dogs or hiking and find > 30 min can be too long for podcasts. Im working toward PT rving just trying to Get hubby on board!

I get so many biggest of wisdom from your guys u tube channel and the latest episode what to think about before you make big changes was such a confirmation of where my family and I are aiming our lives. Just listened to `What to consider before jumping…` Been watching your YouTube channel for over a year. Love your stuff. The podcast here had some awesome points! I loved how you talked about how hitting the road will not make your problems disappear. And that is so true. Being mindful about the friends you decide to hang around with. Switch it up and doubling down on your career instead of running from it! You never hear that. Excellent points of view! Exercise, reading, listening to podcasts… explorer, get our of your element. Take it slow. It won't happen over night. All things I truly believe. You say podcasts don’t necessarily bring the `community` part of it was well as YouTube channel might. But podcasts do bring another aspect to the whole thing. Strict, intimate dialog. No video or effects too distract you. Podcasts have a time and place, I believe. My vote is, keep doing podcasts like this, maybe quarterly. I found a ton of value out of this.

I cannot begin to tell you how relevant this is currently in my life and how much this resonates. I am currently in the process of leaving a career in law enforcement, and transitioning into the civilian world. I had friends who will no longer be there shortly, I have ideas and thoughts and wants that those around me don’t share. And this, this right here just affirms that I can leave, I can move on. What’s important is me!

So I would love to know some of your favorite books, podcast, resources for motivation? I would enjoy more details of the steps you guys took to prepare for travel. Our 5 year plan is to spend summers traveling. (I’m a teacher) for instance, how did you get bills, house, kids, ect. Ready for this huge change.

I love the channel and am glad there’s a platform for this side of things too! I love the conversations and like “fireside chats”. I enjoy listening to you guys just talk through your experiences and learning curves and just the talking to each other with questions. Hope you keep it going! It keeps me inspired to learn, change, and find joy in the right now to get to the dream!

Is a 52 minute discussion in this format of value? YES Absolutely! Our Daydream began to crystallize after Kay and I watched your first YouTube episode. Once the commitment was made things started to fall in place. I was able to take my job remote. We moved from our home of 22 years in Virginia to our Mountain cabin in Oregon that had been in construction for 5+ years. We took delivery of our 1st travel trailer Dec 21, 2019 and our maiden voyage begins 3/13. Everything you said in this podcast is spot on. It takes time to make a daydream reality. It starts with a vision. You helped us to find the path. I look forward to one day enjoying a beer or glass of wine with Marc and Tricia! Loved the conversation! So helpful- don’t mind the raw and unedited version. It gave me some new ideas to consider. We sold out and bought an RV and I am starting my first travel nursing assignment next week and I’ve had so many of these same thoughts when trying to decide how to make my current profession fit with my desire for freedom to travel.
