The series blends legal drama with classic Western themes, with Remington using both the legal system and, when necessary, his fists and gun to bring order to the frontier. As the series progresses, he ventures into other parts of the New Mexico Territory and Colorado, dealing with various challenges like claim jumpers, rustlers, bank robbers, and lynch mobs.
