    Self forgiveness and social conformity
The Sean Hayes episode was awesome! I learned so much about self forgiveness especially against social normalcy and values. The way Sean Hayes went through in his head the ping pong of questions and valuesAnd the lack of education. It was really helpful. Even to realize that Sean‘s own behavior in the car was sometimes counterintuitive. Realizing his own mistakes against trying to be helpful and understanding for others what is something I really identified with.I was born with a disability, cerebral palsy. Conforming to able-bodied standards because of my physical training before the ADA, Also left me with guilt because I could do more than some of my friends with disabilities.Yesterday I forgave myself for conforming to ability and disability standards. Thank you!

    Life changing
Dr. Dan Segel changed my thought process and assisted with allowing myself to forgive my ex husband who killed himself earlier this year and all the pain he cause myself and my children during our marriage and afterwards. Instead of living in the past and the future, I will begin to center myself in the present. Thank you Katherine for helping others.

Loved it! Thank you for your work
Enjoyed every single podcast, sad that it has come to an end. Each story was so fulfilling and eloquent. Hope you will continue in a 2nd round! Thank you for the beautiful and thoughtful work ! You are amazing!❤️

    Hoping
Katherine has a soothing lovely voice and her kindness is wonderful....But if this will be turning into a political podcast I will be unsubscribing(I hope not because I love it). We don’t need liberal Chelsea Handler pretending she needs to forgive the President...Though she may want to think of asking her children she aborted for forgiveness.

    I did love this podcast....
I loved the concept of this podcast. There’s been some great discussions with Jessica Simpson, Cheryl Burke and Lewis Howe that are stories worth hearing. However, as usual the celebrities had to turn it political pushing their left agenda and it really turned me off of it. Really Chelsea Handler with your you’ll never forgive trump bit?? Talk about victim mentality. Im glad I didn’t buy this book, as I’m waiting to see How the rest of the episodes go. I love talking politics when it’s an even playing field, not one side bashing the other, especially when politics don’t fit into the narrative of the podcast in general. Disappointing....

Loved it until it got political
I was in LOVE with this podcast until it turned political. The guest was discussing how much she hates Trump and how Republicans are “unforgivable”. This is hypocritical considering the purpose of the podcast. I’m not sure I’ll continue...

    Enjoyed until recently
Wow, you just let Chelsea Handler talk about forgiveness...what forgiveness was that? Forgiving herself? I couldn’t tell she was any different than her old obnoxious self. I think her therapist Dave has a lot more work to do on her.

    Inspiring, Peaceful, Hopeful
First off, Katherine’s voice is soothing and peaceful to listen to - she is slow to speak with wisdom and doesn’t interrupt. Second, thank you for creating a space where these stories can be heard and the topic of forgiveness can be talked about more thoroughly. And lastly, starting a podcast and learning how to host is not easy, you’re doing a great job so far! Excited to hear more.

    So thankful for you Katherine
Since my father passed away four years ago I’ve been so angry with my mom. I realized through therapy how much mental abuse my siblings and I were put through. I’ve struggled all this time with forgiving her and these Podcasts are amazing helpful and I’ve recently purchased your book as well. Thank you so much for this.

    Awesome!
First of all, I love Katherines voice, so clear, soothing and pure. Secondly, I am working on this area in my life and hearing these journeys is getting me closer to finding the forgiveness I need to find. I want more!❤️

    Very eye-opening
My favorite episode has been the Lewis Howe’s episode because we get a little glimpse of Katherines forgiveness journey as well!

I like the stories and interviews
I like the stories and interviews but there is a group of people who are disconnected from the rest of us which makes it difficult to listen to. They try and be more connected but in doing so become more disconnected.

    I am forever grateful!
I accidentally tuned in this morning because the guest Sean Hayes caught my eye. Wow! I could not believe how this podcast effected me. I related in some way to every guest she had on and I want to thank you Katherine for creating this very important and inspiring podcast. Congratulations on a job well done.

    My new favorite podcast.
I didn’t realize how deeply I struggled with forgiveness. I’ve heard the word so many times and I used to be able to forgive, but as I got older, I found it harder and harder to do. This podcast is amazing, and to hear such touching stories of forgiveness seems to be even more necessary during these times. Thank you for making this podcast. I genuinely feel like a better person after listening, and I’m so grateful for all of these people to be open and share their own experiences. 10+ stars

    What a Gift
I recently started the journey of working on forgiving someone and basically working on forgiving myself. This podcast is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could give it 10 stars. ❤️

    Positive message
Very deep conversations with so many good pointers on why forgiveness is so healing. A great podcast for your soul. Love it!

    Amazing
This podcast is really well done. To the people voicing that she is an extremely privileged person who has not perfected forgiveness in herself- I believe that she would be the first to admit this as well. Forgiveness is a process, and it effects us all-regardless of our demographic or life story. She also uplifts the stories of others, and provides a platform to have hard and vulnerable conversations. This podcast is one of the best things I’ve listened to during quarantine.

Rich white millionaire out of touch.
She is a rich white millionaire married to a man who left his last wife once he got famous. Completely out of touch with reality.

    Life Changing!
I truly needed this podcast at this time in my life. I have had a hard time forgiving the people who have caused me pain. My dad took his own life four months ago. I’m struggling to find a way to forgive myself for not being around when this happened. Your podcast is a blessing to me.
  • AndJusticeForAnimals
    Confused
I just don’t understand how a woman who is married to a guy who kills lambs, can host a show about forgiveness. Celebrity hypocrisy at its finest.
  • lisa fco
So glad I found this Podcast!
I have listened to your first two podcasts and am hooked. Now I am buying your book! Such a moving and important topic. Keep it up!
  • TGIF.....!
    Hypocrite
How can you talk about forgiveness when you won’t even acknowledge your brother. He didn’t as to be the product of an affair, he was born into an extremely difficult position. You’re a hypocrite and only gaining attention because of your family heritage. Connect with your brother, address your father’s infidelity and then we can take you as someone appropriate to speak about forgiveness.

    Definition of celeb mediocrity
Another podcast where a celebrity or person of privilege tackles a topic like an amateur where so many ppl before her have traversed it with wisdom, complexity and insight. Sounds like a high school project at best.

Incredibly inspiring and challenging. Love hearing the stories, and learning from the wisdom of others. Thank you for sharing!

Not qualified to lead a podcast in this area
Odd that a person can make money off of other people’s stories and yet have no sense of forgiveness in her own life.

    Forgiveness where?
You can’t even acknowledge your own half brother. This privileged celebrity child knows nothing. Especially forgiveness. 😂

    Beautiful podcast
This podcast is beautiful to listen to. It’s compelling, complicated and challenging. It makes me think and study my own actions and thoughts. Thank you for putting out such great content.

    Awesome
Such a great podcast! I loved the Sean Hayes episode . He is so brave and beautiful. I understand his questions surrounding his father because it’s hard to let someone off the hook. It’s really letting yourself off the hook. Forgiveness doesn’t mean he has to have him in his life. I love love Sean Hayes! Katherine is awesome.
  • Stringdoc
    Beautifully done
I was looking for exactly this kind of Podcast. Thank you!
  • blahblahblah27159
    Nothing original to say
The author has nothing original to say about forgiveness. I read the book and it reads like a basic definition of forgiveness for a middle school paper. This country is so obsessed with celebrity culture if we think Katherine (who is only famous because of her parents and husband and has essentially forged a career by interviewing their Rolodexes) has this microphone... she’s the epitome of white privilege.

Listening brought to mind the work of Pauline Boss - ambiguous loss! Looking forward to listening to you- thank you!

    First episode- Sean Hayes
Katherine, you are an excellent host in that you ask a question and then allow your guest (Sean) to answer fully, without interruption. The occasional use of background music playing while Sean was talking was a distraction. The music gave your podcast a soap opera feel, and Sean’s stories deserved to not be overshadowed by dramatic music. I will listen to more episodes.

Just what I wanted to hear
Can’t wait for the second episode 👏🏻👏🏻

    Enjoyed
The guests you will have will be interesting to listen to as to how they came to forgive. Sean Hayes’ honesty was refreshing.

    Beautiful
I needed this today! Thank you so much for this podcast and I can’t wait to hear the coming episodes.
  • _brookie_cookie_
    All around amazing.
I loved listening to this podcast. I am not usually one to take the time to listen to podcasts and if I ever do, it’s certainly not to the end. When the podcast came to an end I thought, “Wait that’s it?”. I loved the calming talk between the two and the topic was something I really needed to hear today. Although my experiences weren’t exactly the same, I finally felt like I had someone that could relate to me and understand how they were able to cope with a situation and learn to forgive. Especially in these crazy times right now, it’s important to try and clear the clutter you have in your mind and forgiveness is a great step in doing so. Thank you for this and I can’t wait for the next episode!
