Don’t think Chris prepares for his pods as much as he used to, or as much as other hosts within the network, and by adding Kyle, who adds zero, whatever content is offered is certainly diluted. Not close to what it used to be! Update: Couldn’t wait any longer for Kyle to improve…not happening! Unfortunately, as much of an Avalanche fan that I am, have to tune out…Kyle is an absolute idiot! UPDATE: Here is an elite team and the hosts offer a superfluous narrative, almost recreational! Very disappointing…

Great podcast. My 2 & 4 year old love the ending with the little guy saying Go AVs Go! They just crack up so I rewind it several times so they can shout it out with him.

There is a reason this show is as popular as it is. Great knowledge. Great energy. Fun to listen to. They mix sports, fun and stats together better than any other show I’ve ever heard.

I like you guys, I really do. But I’ll listen to the drunk people who know what they’re talking about over podcasters (or any broadcaster sports personality type) who can’t bother to even look at the stat sheet before recording. You guys know what you’re talking about more than sports radio. You’re family friendly. And I really like how passionate you both are about the Avs. So still a 4/5 stars from me. Keep putting in the work, it will payoff. And if you want an example on how that work can pay off. Well, I think we all could all learn a few things from the #4 hockey podcast in the world. We are all Avs fans, and I do appreciate your podcast in the space.

Recently found this podcast in my never ending quest to absorb any and all Avs content. That being said, this pod ain’t it. The hosts are kinda boring and bland. They feel like they would rather be doing something else. Cannot recommend this pod, especially recently finding out that they have a beef with DNVR. Skip this one and head over to the DNVR podcast.

Another boring podcast that would be great to throw on if you need help falling asleep. No passion from the host, and they do NOT make up for it with knowledge, because they certainly don’t come across as hockey experts based on there conversations and sophomoric attempts at analyzing the Avalanche. In my experience, most of the “Locked On” hosts come of as amateurs with little actual intimate knowledge of the team they cover. Would never waste my time listening to this again because there are a few SIGNIFICANTLY better Avalanche podcast options available, keep looking Avs fam! #GoAvsGo

Kind of sounds like a pod that a couple teenagers put together. Except they’re adults. Not the best avs coverage

Man you make a swallowing sound a lot but it’s like mouth s very dry also the energy is not there

I’m giving this a 4 star review because it’s great to have another podcast dedicated to the Avs. However, the knowledge and analysis is lacking and leads to at least a couple of moments every show that make me cringe or shake my head with disappointment. Lots of inaccurate stats and analysis that simply doesn’t jive with what is actually happening on the ice. It’s clear that many of the guests either aren’t actually watching the games or simply don’t have a full understanding of the game. This is all easily fixable stuff, hence the 4 star rating, but it makes it difficult to listen to at times. Will happily change this review as quality improves. Check out the DNVR Avalanche podcast if you’re looking for the best Avs pod out there!

Great host and doesn’t twist information and tells the real story

Without a doubt the best podcast available about my beloved Avs. I got tired of the constant negativity of some other Avs shows and love how Chris mixes brutal honesty about the team while being true a true fan. He doesn’t sugar coat things and tells it like he sees it. When the Avs are doing well he says so. When they are doing poorly he has no problem calling people out. It’s all done in a respectful way. He’s no just an idiot with a microphone. Very knowledgeable and fair.

i listen on spotify but i came here to leave a review because this is just an all around great podcast. good balance of hyping the avs up while also being realistic and giving criticism. well hosted, keeps it interesting and the episodes aren’t too long that you start to get bored. subscribe if you’re an avs fan!

The podcast I’ve been looking for when it comes to getting my Avs fix. What’s better than a daily podcast about my Ave with a knowledgeable host who’s entertaining and thoughtful. I love the different bits he has and is honest about the Avs good or bad.

Host is great to listen too and passionate about the Avalanche. He’s very fair and doesn’t just say the Ave are great cause he a fan. He calls it like it is. Great to listen especially during this year since they are playing so great. Let’s get the cup! Go Avs!!!

Look no further for the best Avalanche podcast available. Always up to date and informative. Love the different segments and the audio from coach and players. I don’t get to watch every game so listening to this keeps me updated.
