Chaotic and nonsensical ... and unlistenable audio, yuck!
I found out about Dave Emory way back in the 70's when he did a call in radio talk show from Foothills College in Los Altos Hills. It was all new and interesting and people could call in and ask questions or share their ideas. Emery always seemed to hate the callers and having to discuss or defend some of his more out-there claims. That is what I liked about the show, but it went away and became a monologue, which is most of what we get today. I learned a lot from listening to Emory, his cop-host and his guests, and even attended some lectures that he gave. Again, Emory really seemed to dislike having to interact with his audience. Eventually I just gave up as his lectures became more and more disjointed and he would never got to the point or call out anything clearly. Dave used to have a wonderful speaking voice but somewhere along the line his voice got broken and not he is very hard to understand. Add the poor quality audio and I don't even know why he has a podcast when you cannot hear it or understand it. Anyway, because in all these years, decades all Dave seems to be able to do it open up new theories but never connect or follow through with any thread I have to give this podcast as 1/5 and label it as useless and unacceptable.

    Long time listener
I’ve listened to Mr. Emory since 1983 the One Step Beyond days. You really need to listen to the background research in the Radio Free America broadcasts. He is an anti-facist researcher that reads from various books, periodicals, news papers and digital news sources. Emory definitely brings alternate explanations to some of history’s events especially contemporary American political history.

    A bit pretentious but great
Dave Emory is an old fashioned intellectual. Charmingly erudite, endlessly well-read and occasionally laughably pretentious, Dave is a national treasure and essential voice in the fight against fascism in America.

Very insightful analysis of history, justice and the corporatism that defines today’s dystopia
Dave Emory on this podcast “For the Record “ and Spitfirelist .com has a keen mind and a great heart. His work will go down as the most insightful and comprehensive analysis of historical factors that define today’s politics and geopolitical landscape. His work is invaluable and very relevant, especially today. I’m a longtime listener! I highly recommend this podcast to any student of history economics or political science on any side of the political spectrum. Great show, always relevant! Go support this good journalism!!

    Unsourced Hysterics
A fantastic curation of accusations unsourced on the podcast. Paints a vivid picture of your worst fears. Probably quite popular with MAGA goons.

    The Horror…The Horror!
I have been listening to Dave Emory since I was a senior in High School…Probably not a good idea. If there truly is a horror (movie) out there in my opinion it is the things that happen in real life…but even more frightening is the things that are happening in real life behind the scenes unseen, unchecked…and below the surface. This is where Mr Emory takes us, to that realm we wish did not exist. There are times I listen to this show and think he is got to be crazy to think this but then his prediction of coming events come to fruition…then you have to wonder…is he a Prophet? I don't think he is but it makes you wonder…one thing he uses is the written facts as his guide and he puts the pieces to the puzzle together to create the picture, although it is one we probably do not want to look at in anyway or anytime soon.

    Very interesting.
Dave helps you see the world differently. I don't always agree with his conclusions but I'm definitely always entertained.

    Fascinating topics
The interviews with Russ Baker first attracted me to this show. After listening to several other episodes, I've found it to be a really fascinating broadcast with tons of little facts I'd not heard before. One thing, though: we gotta get Emory to forget the word "milieu"!

    Fact Or Fiction: You Decide!
Dave Emory never fails to fascinate. Some will call his ideas paranoid conspiracy theories, others will believe it as truth. When I first heard Mr. Emory I didn't know what to think, and I still don't. His research is solid, and although his conclusions may be radical they are rational. I would invite you to listen and decide for yourself, because he is always thought provoking. I used to listen to his radio broadcast and I'm extremely happy to be able to hear him again here.
