    Mics?
I physically cannot listen to this podcast because the quality of production is so bad. Live in 2024 and live in 1996 are two different things.

    Low Digital Quality
The digital quality doesn’t match the Washington Post team’s quality.

    Spend money on some mics
Good mics are relatively cheap. Up the quality folks!

    Audio is horrible
Content is excellent, but audio quality is sometimes truly horrible. I quit listening.

    Cut back the music
I don’t understand why there’s long stretches of just time killing music.

    The interviews are generally good
The WaPo has excellent access to newsmakers, and their interviews are generally effective. Their choice of topics are interesting and timely
  • Mom of littles
    Great content, crap audio
Content good enough to listen despite the horrendous (seriously, you are a paper of record!) audio quality.

everyone keeps speaking about the women & children and i agree n i will mention here that i am a woman. we cannot forget the boys though. the boys are important to protect too as if they see their elders telling women stay home we don’t need u to work, no drivng, no leaving the house w/o a male escort these boys will be taught and see this. the men will set the paternalistic order of what they should think. that sexism is a seed in those young brains and this is bad too.

Robert Costa is not good at this
This review is solely based on Costa’s interview of Mayor Pete. Throughout, he trolls the mayor, at several points pushing him to say mean things about Biden and Obama, and when the mayor demurred, Costas’ snappy comeback was, “Why not?” Seriously? That’s your strategy for crafting an engaging, insightful dialog? I don’t know if Costa is the lead on all of these pods, but if he is, I doubt they will reveal much about the subjects.
