Anyone want to tell me why they’re speaking about a show of which at least 2 of them have not seen or remember? As a fan of the show, I was annoyed at the mindless banter concerning this amazing show. Not knowing how to pronounce “Schuyler”, not knowing what “Guns and Ships” was about, not knowing that Lin was in the show, as well as other details was pretty disappointing too. You should have watched the bootleg or listened to the soundtrack!! My suggestion is that you all see it first THEN speak on it......I give this one star just for the synopsis. Everything else was pretty worthless, and I don’t recommend it.

If I had friends, they would all sound like the people on this podcast. This is everything I wanted in a musical podcast and more! [insert humble request to guest host from the US] I learn more from this show than I do from the actual musicals they’re discussing! Perfect for road trips, less perfect for background noise since I want to pay attention. Perfect for practicing my Australian accent, less perfect for the FOMO I experience because I’m thousands of miles away. KEEP DOING EVERYTHING

I’ve enjoyed some of the episodes, but when one of the hosts annoying sings a line from the songs they’re discussing, I roll my eyes and want to turn it off. If you’re going to sing, do that. There’s no need to sing in a mocking tone.

The panelists are probably knowledgeable and capable individuals with a wealth of information and insight. However, their presentation is frequently overrun by inane banter, childish asides, and general silliness. This series could be greatly improved by eliminating much of the sophomoric badinage and guffawing that consumes far too much air time and concentrating on actual content related to the topic as suggested in the title.
