    The best!
This podcast is so clever and fun!

    Delightful
The Popcast is a wonderful little midweek pick me up. Even though I know less about pop culture than Erin (I didn’t know who Slimer was either), I always end up laughing at Knox and Jamie’s witty banter. I do get some good book and show recommendations too! And even if I never watch them, I at least learn enough to have a less socially awkward conversation about the things that everyone else is watching.

a POP(cast) of fun every week
I’ve been listening to Knox, Jamie and Erin for YEARS now! They’ve kept me company on countless road trips, flights and boring days in the office. They’ve kept are the perfect balance to each other. It’s like if siblings had a podcast about pop culture and knew the right amount to pick on each other and celebrities! And being a Friends with Benefots gives me even more fun every week!!

All the Pop Culture You Didn’t Know You Wanted to Know
Talk about a delightful listen. I’ve been listening to this podcast for over three years after my spouse’s every other comment was, “This week on the Popcast,” and I wanted to be able to discuss the topics with them. In the past year I’ve accessed exclusive content and I’m not going back. If you want a podcast for things that do not matter, but definitely entertain then you need to add this to your weekly listen list.

    Never miss
In today’s world, listening to Knox and Jamie break down the things that educate but do not matter is an absolute balm for my soul. Thank you for injecting some joy into my veins!

    All the stars & more
Jamie, Knox & the PMG = The real team making America Great ! The true patriots that bring hot takes, delightful observations, great recommendations and much needed laughter to our lives. I wish I could give you more stars. Thank you for your service.
  • Fun & relatable
    Jamie is the best
I love them all but I’m countering the hate. Jamie is amazing. The banter is perfection. The humor is fun and light. This is my favorite podcast.

A Welcome Respite from the American Hellscape
Jamie, Knox, and Erin provide a welcome respite from the current firehouse of upsetting news we receive daily. They are loving, decent people who make me laugh every Wednesday (and Tuesday and sometimes Friday as I’m a Friend with Benifots). Some people might complain about the number of diglets, gummies, or sex scenes mentioned in their podcasts, but as an exvangelical, I’d like to hear even more about them. Maybe even get some affiliate links for the gummies. Goodness knows, in these trying times, we could all use one. Thank you guys for your commitment to educating us on things that don’t matter.

    So fun!
This is a top tier podcast! I just love the banter between the hosts. These 3 are the parasocial friends you need. Their interesting and witty conversations have lifted my spirits during these times.

They're my Best Friends (with benefots)
Knox and Jamie have been my weekly companions for like a decade now - they work tirelessly and put out so much content that I literally haven't gone a week without hearing them at least once. While they deliver on the "Educating you on thing that entertain but don't matter", they do it with equal parts humor and heart, and a healthy dash of shenanigans. I've been a Patreon subscriber for a handful of years as well, and it's totally worth it - especially in the past few months when I've had to cut back on my news & politics podcasts for mental health reasons, I know I can count on Knox, Jamie, and Erin to help me make it through the day.

    These are my people
If you live in the South, you know you are surrounded by some of the wittiest people in the world, but you rarely see them represented in media. This podcast is SO refreshing because its hosts are the best of that thoughtful, quick humor I love, finally in the accents and context I know.

    Social butterfly
This show definitely makes me feel like I am more pop savvy then I actually am. I am a ball of social anxiety but this podcast gives me information and laughter to make me seem like I might be cool. Best part of my week

    My weekly pick me up
If laughter is the best medicine, then "Popcast" is my prescription for all things pop culture! Knox and Jamie are like the dynamic duo of entertainment—think Batman and Robin, but instead of fighting crime, they're dissecting the latest celebrity gossip and pop culture phenomena with a side of humor that leaves me in stitches. Listening to them feels like catching up with your most hilarious friends over a cup of coffee (or maybe something stronger). Their chemistry is electric—just like the time they tried to explain TikTok trends to someone from the '80s (sorry, Grandma). Whether they’re debating the merits of a particular movie or sharing wild stories from their lives, it’s all wrapped in witty banter that’s relatable and refreshingly real. Knox’s puns are so good (or bad, depending on your sense of humor) that I often find myself groaning and laughing at the same time. And Jamie? Her ability to weave a story is like watching a master chef—just when you think it can't get any better, she adds just the right spice! So, if you want to stay updated on pop culture while doubling over in laughter, give "Popcast" a listen. Just be prepared to explain why you suddenly burst out laughing in the middle of a quiet place—it’s definitely not just you; it’s Knox and Jamie working their magic!

    Must Listen
A must listen for me since I discovered them in 2020! Can’t get enough, so I support them on Patreon at the highest level, and frequently relisten.

    Best podcast!
This is my most favorite podcast and the only one I am willing to pay for. Continue to bring on the diglits and titty meat!
  • Strandedlala
    My favorite!
Quick, sharp, hilarious and keeps my list of shows, books and movies growing!

    Ad time
Their preview episodes, which are about 15-20 min, make you listen to about 6 minutes of ads. Why even give us a preview if you are going to waste our time filling it with ads?

    Green light every time
This show is truly a highlight of my week—funny, witty, and endlessly entertaining. Knox and Jamie have the kind of chemistry and banter that feels effortless and electric. Every episode has clever commentary, spicy moments that keep things exciting and hilarious, and an authenticity that makes it feel cozy and familiar in the best way. I love the honesty and humor they bring. The episodes are clever, interesting, informative and super fun. When Erin joins in, the dynamic is even more fun—it’s just a great hang! I appreciate the balance of hilarity with heart. There’s a real sense of love, respect, and compassion that shines through, making it feel both uplifting and grounded even when just talking about pop culture. I laugh out loud episode. They are highly appreciative of their listeners and I’m happy to support such an amazing company. The best podcast. Highly recommend!

    Why wouldn’t you listen?
I started listening to the Popcast just before the pandemic. And honestly, it was one of the things that saved me during that time and in this time after. So thankful for the delightful idiocies I hear each week!

No longer the fun it was
I used to be a diehard fan. I loved the light hearted self deprecation, hilarious commentary on popular culture, and overall silliness. Jamie and Knox have slowly transitioned their content to excessively mocking Christianity, crossing the line to sacrilegious and it is UNCOMFORTABLE; pushing far left political views ad nauseam when this podcast used to be an escape from the serious; and hero worshipping Erin for an hour, who is actually not at all funny because she is relentlessly try-hard and not at all a Bible scholar per her claim. Jamie and Knox- mocking God but then saying “but it’s okay, I’m a Christian,” is actually not okay and doesn’t align with anything in the Bible. Also, if something in the Bible makes you uncomfortable, you don’t get to decide it’s not literal because it makes you feel better. Shame on you for using your platform to mock the God you say you love and to point people away from Him. I’m embarrassed to say I used to be such a big fan, because now I don’t want any association with The Popcast.

Sadly, not what it used to be
I am updating my review that I left years ago. This used to be my very favorite podcast and I even subscribed to Patreon. But the tone changed in the past 2-3 years. Talking about “gummies”, diglets, enjoying s*x scenes in movies has ruined it for me. The patriarchy talk and criticism of Christians has gotten old. So I’m done. I hope they return to their roots and return to the quality content they used to produce

    Kool-Aid Filled Nerf Guns
Imagine your two hilarious best friends decided to go hard in the paint for pop culture current events, sometimes inviting your third best friend (who knows next to nothing about pop culture) to weigh in… these dummies keep riffing and sometimes dunking on A to D list celebs and the shows/movies they make… and even when you’re already peeing just a little, they won’t stop with the jokes. Imagine that chaos and delight showing up in your podcast feed every week (or if you’re like me, ad-free 2 or 3 times a week), reminding you that nothing really matters except the things that actually do matter. When the world is on fire and you just need to escape to a quirkily decorated panic room, Knox & Jamie & Erin will be there with the conversational equivalent of Nerf guns full of Kool-Aid to make the world go away for as long as you need them to.

    So disappointed…
I used to love this podcast. It was lighthearted, smart and hilarious. Some of the “Nos” episodes are absolute classics. Over time, though, it’s become a lot less fun and more political, critical and condescending. It’s also frequently immature and crude. I canceled my Patreon a few years ago for those reasons but listened to regular episodes occasionally in hopes that the podcast would return to its roots. Unfortunately, I don’t think that will happen and it’s at the point where, as a Christian, I feel like I probably shouldn’t be listening to this podcast. Since I’ve been a Patreon supporter, I know that negative reviews do get mocked and I’m sure this one will, too. I do wish Knox and Jamie the best. They’re smart, hardworking and talented. Sadly, the podcast just isn’t for me anymore.

Top shelf entertainment. A must listen.
I am a longtime listener and made the switch to the Friends With Benefots level on Patreon as soon as they announced it. And I swear, those episode behind the paywall are my new favorites. The vibes are never protected but always just right. So much goodness.
  • Merm.alade
    Always hilarious
Cannot recommend this podcast enough, despite the fact that 90% of the time Knox and Jamie name a celebrity I don’t know who they’re talking about. There are so many episodes where I don’t know what they’re talking about. (This is a reflection on me living under a rock not the knowability of their content.) It doesn’t matter, they’re always hilarious. I’d listen to them read the phone book.

    Can’t miss
I look forward to these episodes every week. Love the laughs and appreciate staying up to date on current events.

Jamie told me to, so I did.
I’m posting a review because Jamie told me too. And they deserve 5 stars, I’m not just doing to because she told me to. They might light of the serious, but in a super respectful and appreciated way. And they also make a big deal about not serious things, which is what I need in my life right now.

    Season pass green light
The title says it all. Love this show and their delightful idiocy. You will not regret (sorry double negative) listening and inevitably laughing along to this show.

    Medicine for the Soul
This is the balm my soul needs every week. With everything going on around me I need the laughter from Jamie and Knox! They bring the current world into perspective through humor and thoughtful insight! If you need a release, to just forget life, and have a moment of fun then this is where you’ll find it each and every week! This is the only podcast you need!!!

    I Need These Laughs!
With the chaos we are living in now, I look forward to these episodes more than ever!! Jamie and Knox give my soul the laughter it needs to carry on. They are smarty and hilarious! Thank you!!

    Love this podcast
I absolutely love listening to Jamie and Knox every week. The banter is quick and hilarious. They play off each other well. The lighthearted moments I really need every week and then some. AND they are good people, willing to take a stand
  • letterwriter21
No longer 5 stars for me
Sadly for me the hosts have just become too mean spirited and raunchy. Gets cringy gross at times, esp as they are Christians it’s not a good witness
  • HannsHenn
    Pretty inappropriate
In the past, the team has navigated the line of funny and appropriate, but in the past 2-3 years, it’s gotten more and more past the line. If you’re looking for a funny, entertaining, and clean podcast, I don’t think this is it anymore :/

    Legends
The only podcast that I listen to faithfully every single week. Knox and Jamie are my besties, they just don’t know it yet.

    Will never not listen
Listening to Knox, Jamie, and Erin is like hanging out with all of my personalities. We couldn’t love them more!
  • KBM2025
    Used to be a favorite
Sadly making the call to stop listening :( it used to be a favorite of mine and was the only podcast I ever paid for. Over the years I’ve listened less and less as the tone has seemed to get meaner and more condescending. Another review mentioned that negative the reviews get mocked on Patreon which feels unsurprising.
  • Ap197
    Where did the joy go
No longer fun. No longer a highlight of my podcast lineup. Sorry to go. I miss the banter and the fun that was traded for the snarky comments and judgment.

    The BEST!
My husband and I love listening to The Popcast! It’s great to have both Knox and Jamie to make us laugh and give us the best TV, movie, and book recs. Truly my favorite podcast 🎉
  • Nicky the Mickey
    Love them so much!
Knox and Jamie are hilarious and chaotic in the very best way. Listening to them is like having a conversation with close friends. Also, you guys need to calm down about the paywall situation. So what? This is the best way for them to keep going without eventually shutting down. So think about it, would you rather lose this forever, or keep it with one less episode. Your choice.
  • Anonymouslistener3537
    So sad
I used to recommend this podcast all the time. So it’s a sad to say goodbye. I listened to all the episodes but the ones I was invested and kept listening for have been moved behind a paywall, so the pay off to listen to the ones I didn’t like is gone. I willingly listened to a bazillion ads, but for this reason Sharks… I’m out.
  • S44;)
    Just not the same
I have listened for years but it just seems different now. It used to be a fun escape, but I started noticing more woke and mean commentary. I canceled my patreon and decided to unsubscribe.
  • Suzysalmon
My favorite podcast of all time.
This used to be my favorite podcast of all time. I never missed one. But now, all of my favorite content is behind a pay wall. So bummed. The nos of… as well as flavor town were my absolute favorites. Bring them back! Sad to know that new listeners will not be able to really jump in and know how great it is unless they pay, which they won’t if they are brand new.
  • ohjo;
    I think I’m good
I’ve been a listener since 2016 and for me the show has simply changed. Not in the political way other people are going on about, just the quality and content. It feels like there are so many more ads now, everything is moving behind a paywall, and there isn’t as much pop culture content anymore. I guess if you drink every time Jamie talks about herself it might be a fun listen.
  • carolinekirkland
    The only podcast to exist
I would never entertain the thought of listening to another podcast (if there even were other ones out there). By far the best $12 I spend each month. If Knox and Jamie ever stopped podcasting, I would throw 12 dollars away every month in memory of the Popcast.

    THE PATRIARCHY!!! 😱 white people🏳️🥴
You know what’s sad? They are so very funny, smart, informative- And clean! I agree with so many points you all make with how important representation is in culture. But anymore its: THEPATRIARCHYwhitepeopleTHEPATRIARCHYwhitepeopleTHEPATRIARCHYwhitepeopleTHEPATRIARCYwhitepeople and on and on….. I’ve listened since 2015 (And I fully expect to be doxxed on Patreon) so I do have that para social bond that feels like a bit of breakup. But it’s time for me to go.
  • JenniferMarie13
    Love them
Their laughter is therapeutic and listening to all three of them discuss pop culture/life is somehow stress relieving. So thanks for that!
