ejepeteCaptivating story and storytellerNarration brings the nuances, charm and humor of each character to life. The story is a wonderful balance of hardship and happiness, with plenty of movement and endearing moments shaping David’s life to hold my interest throughout. Charles Dickens deserves his place among the greatest authors and the narrator is a master storyteller.

A hard to please listenerDavid CopperfieldExcellent narration!

Pats McKMust Listen! An oratory gem, a truly brilliant performance by Tadhg Hynes. Lovingly and genuinely rendered, never over-dramatized. Dickens could only be proud that his masterpiece has been so masterfully read to a new generation of readers/listeners. Thank you!

Beka K 1Completely engagingSo very well done. I love the way this was read and I was captivated from start to finish. He perfectly captures the characters. I highly recommend!

Dice All DayNarrated to perfectionThe reader captures the optimism, the humor, and the heart of the main character so wonderfully that I suspect I wouldn’t have liked the book nearly as much if it weren’t for this narration.

YouDude60ImmersiveWhat a wonderful discovery this was. The time it takes is well-invested; many characters are unforgettable and the story a charming, bittersweet walk through another time.

Animal lover 175A rainbow for the earsTige Hines (?), the reader, does such a wonderful job of changing voices to match each changing character that he adds to Dickens' story. Give your eyes a rest and your mind a tour of early 19th English life. What were you going to do anyway? Listen to talk radio?!! It's a long drive home, relax with Charles Dickens.

Rogert TheistGreat AudiobookGreat reading of David Copperfield - good pacing and inflection, and pleasant voice. This and Oliver Twist (read by the same person) are the best free audiobooks I've found on the podcast app.
